Based on my experience of purchasing a set of Shure headphones (not a particularly high value item) I can honestly say that I felt bowled over by the standard of service that the staff at Hifonix gave me. When I telephoned and enquired about headphones they directed me to the website and talked me through the various options and advised me about what they thought would suit my needs, refreshingly the set of Shure headphones that they recommended were far from the dearest and I'm delighted with them, isn't that great! They were dispatched immediately and better still, the following week, I got a call from the salesman I had spoken to wanting to know how I was getting on with them and if I was pleased with the purchase. This is the sort of service you would hope to get (and sadly often don't) if you had just spent a two or three grand, my headphones were a mere £130! Says it all I think. More...

Sometimes it is hard for small family like businesses to compete against the bigger faceless companies we find at the click of a mouse. However to ignore the dedication of these smaller businesses, their passion and desire to meet customer needs would be very foolish. Hifonix are not only competitive with their prices but offer a service before, during and after your purchase second to none. In my case this involved objective advice based on thier knowledge and listening skills, a follow up call after my online purchase to put a face or at least a human voice to the process and then a further call to check satisfaction and offer future technical help. Just like the old values of HiFi shops of years gone by. Hifonix work on customer loyalty and are not interested in just making a quick buck without you being 100% happy. I was delighted by their service and the products they supplied with great insight into my specific needs. You don't get this service from any of the bigger bulk sellers on the net. I purchased a pair of SHURE SE535 a few weeks back and were impressed with the service. At first I was sceptical of using a small company that I had not heard of especially as they had low prices. I needed have not worried as after ordering I was called and asked whether I would like to buy the new Bluetooth version as this was now in stock and was better quality than the original. I went into the store thinking I knew what I wanted. Aseem made my wife and I a hot drink and then we talked about what I wanted to achieve. I came out afterwards purchasing completely different kit and it was the best thing I did as I absolutely love what I bought. This is all down to the personal service provided at Hifonix.
