What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
A great photograph starts with a natural eye for angles and subject matter and what is in the frame. Everything in the frame of the photo should be important when thinking professionally and the main subject needs to be clear and in focus. One thing I like to do with photographs is get multiple angles; whether that be from a different perspective or location around the area. This will often lead to the creation of the best possible photographic version of the scene and will allow you to pick which angle you think is best.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
For event projects I will ask simple questions such as: Candid or pre-planned photographs? Who are the priority guests? Who is the event for? What is the event? (if not specified previously) How long will you need me for? Where is the event?
For portrait related projects: Do you have any preferences of how you would like to be photographed? Where would you like to meet to take the portraits?
Payment of the photoshoots will also be discussed.
What do you love most about your job?
I love to capture moments and situations that are unique to event photography; I often catch people just enjoying the moment and it puts a smile on my face. I also like the social interaction that I have with clients; getting to know more people is always great and makes my job more fun!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have been passionate about photography for about 6 years now and feel that I can turn my passion into a business because I know that I am good at what I do. It's been an exciting journey so far and plan to go on for many years.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
If the client desires digital images from a previous in-person photoshoot, this can be done easily. In terms of online photoshoots, this is something I am not doing currently.
Event and party photography
This includes parties, weddings, special/casual gatherings and other events of this nature.
Portrait photography
This includes headshots, family/friend group photos or single person photos and anything else of this nature.
Festival photography
This includes massive events/gatherings.
