I cannot speak too highly of Fluffies. They took my dog at short notice, were kind, caring and went out of their way to make us and our dog feel at ease. Sarah took my dog Reme for a week. Reme was walked twice a day and appeared to live every minute. Sarah was very reliable and showed excellent understanding of all the dogs. What do you love most about your job?
Animals have always been a passion with me since a small child, as a child I always offered to walk dogs for neighbour, I ran the animal house at school and went in during school holidays to ensure all animals were fed, cleaned and watered . I also have helped out at local stables and been a keen rider.
My dream job has always been to work with animals, and being a dog walker, dog boarder and doing pet pop ins is , coupled with getting out in the fantastic Wiltshire countryside and keeping fit with the walking, what's not to love? I have the best job in the world.
What inspired you to start your own business?
As I love anything furry, feathered or with scales and knowing how difficult it is to get other pets looked after when you are away. I am using my passion of animals to provide the love and care that your pets are used to, while you are at work or on holiday/ hospital. I had worked in various offices, and done many jobs, finally decided that it was time to work for myself and put what I love doing to a use and start my own business.
As a pet owner I used to struggle to find people to look after my cats, chickens and fish. I use to find I was putting on people every time I asked them to pop in feed them and close the curtains and make my house look lived in while I was away.
So, I began to think about how I could help others who have the same problem I had, along with combining my love of dogs and all other pets including those that are outside in small holdings and fields.
