Full Re-Wire
A full re-wire would include all electrics in the property to be replaced by new wiring, accessories and a new Consumer unit Board and Tails. A full Electrical Installation certificate would be handed over to the client after completion of the electrical install.
Part Re-Wire/Extensions/Garden Rooms
A part re-wire would not include the whole house in its scope but rather maybe an upgraded room or two, for example a kitchen upgrade.
First Electrics also offers installations and certification for both Extensions and Garden rooms. We are experienced in following drawings and communicating with the client about what there vision is and achieving that vision.
Consumer Upgrade
Upgrading of an old consumer unit to a new consumer unit that complies to the new 18th British Standard regulations.
This would usually include and upgrade in Main Tail sizes (Live & Neutral) to 25mm and 16mm for the Main CPC (Earth). For all circuits breakers to be either individual RCBOs, or a split RCD Comnsumer unit.
Electrical Additions/Alterations
No Job is too small. If you require additional sockets/Switches, or if you would like some Electrical accessories moving we are more than capable and happy to oblige.
A Minor works certificate would be completed after the work has been completed and handed over to the client.
EICR/Periodic Test
First Electrics can provide periodic tests on properties both domestic and commercial.
This gives Landlords the necessary paperwork to show that there properties electrical installation is safe and complies with the latest British Standard Regulations.
PAT Testing
First Electrics offers PAT testing for appliances at a very competitive rate.
