We spoke to Andy when our boiler started leaking. Before coming to assess the job, he was up front about costs and we got the sense that he would be fair to deal with.
The next day he came out to investigate the problem. Straight away he was able to diagnose the problem he was called out for, but also noticed a future problem with corrosion around our heat cell.
He explained all this to us and gave us a few options on how we could proceed. All the while, we never felt pressured (we could have decided to put off the bigger problem for a future date, for example).
He seemed very knowledgeable on various manufacturers and the warranties they provide, and despite us having no paperwork, he was able to ring up the manufacturer and get our broken part replaced under warranty.
Overall, Andy was super nice, transparent and trustworthy, and we will try and use him going forward.
