In November 2019 we worked with Fiona and her team for an important gala dinner we were holding. The food, service, and overall experience with Fiona and her team was exceptional, and we couldn't have been happier with the overall journey and result. We would certainly not only use them again, but recommend to anyone hosting an event. Everyone to do with Fiona Herbert catering were so good!! Scott on the day made everything easy and move so smoothly, the staff serving and and setting up were friendly and welcoming, Fiona for hosting a lovely tasting session of the food and Jayne putting up with constant emails from me and helping out with payments just made the whole wedding experience stress free and so easy to get on there was not a single issue. Wow! We really can’t speak highly enough of the incredible catering service that Fiona Herbert Catering provided for our daughters wedding . From the initial planning of the catering menu to the sleek service on the day was absolutely fantastic . Scott ( front of house manager ) and his team were so friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble . The food was so delicious .. the guests haven’t stopped talking about it . Fiona Herbert catered for our wedding at Holme Pierrepont Hall and we are SO glad we chose them as our caterers. The food was of outstanding quality- it was by far the best food we have ever had at a wedding. All our guests said the same thing too! The food was all extremely flavoursome and beautifully presented. In particular, the fillet of beef we chose for the main course was of extremely high quality. The attention to detail was incredible e.g. the drinks were served with edible flowers and fresh raspberries so they looked so beautiful and summery. The organisation on the day and professionalism was wonderful. Scott, our front of house manager, was such a pleasure to work with and Jayne was very good at communicating with us by email before the event. I highly recommend FHC after using them for an 80th birthday party at my parents' home. From start to finish the service was highly professional, thoughtful and friendly. Planning for the event was exceptional and we had outstanding service from the whole team on the day. The quality and choice of food was excellent. We had the most amazing wedding day. Scott was fabulous as 'front of house'. He was totally unobtrusive while every so often kindly checking we were ok and had everything we needed. He moved things on, again checking with us first, in a very efficient, low key way. The Long Gallery looked beautiful and everything was ready for our Reception. We liked the sweet peas throughout the hall. We'd like to thank Scott and his team for making our day such a wonderful occasion. Ignore any of the poor reviews about Fiona Herbert. The business has been known to me for over a decade and I have never heard anything but praise for them. I have been at weddings they have catered for as well as Christmas Fairs and then, last Christmas, I used them for an event in my home. They were simply excellent - the food was delicious, the service superb and after they had gone it looked as though the fairies had been, as the house was spotless. The staff at Fiona Herbert catered for our wedding and were so helpful and friendly from the minute we first got in touch through to the day itself. We absolutely loved the food they provided and some of our friends are still talking about the roast beef and the mac & cheese canopes! When we first met Fiona we didn’t really have much of an idea about anything but she was so helpful and pretty much helped plan most of the day, from creative cake ideas to the timings of everything which made it so much easier. We used Fiona Herbert Catering Company for our Wedding reception on 13.05.2017 which was a few weeks ago now and people still haven't stopped talking about how amazing the food was.
On the weekend of our wedding, Amanda (our front of house manager) and the team were absolutely brilliant. From helping us set up on the Friday, right through until late Saturday evening, they went above and beyond past to make our day special. It is just phenomenal how this company can produce such fabulous food in a marquee in a field in the middle of nowhere.
Fiona not only catered for our Wedding, but also used her wealth of experience to help us plan our entire reception. Right from our first meeting through to the day, her service was impeccable, she really cares about the small details.

The service provided was fantastic they covered absolutely everything and the staff ensured that my wedding was full of personal touches which made it so special not just to us but all that attended. Simply perfect. We were lucky enough to have Fiona cater for our wedding party at Nottingham Castle. More than that she helped with planning sorted tables, seating, timings and believe me the list goes on, her experience speaks mountains. The attention to detail was fantastic and food, sublime. Guests said not only was the food amazing, but some the best they'd ever eaten. I highly recommend the assiette of deserts. Her staff and their table service was impeccable, attentive, polite and were there immediately after a few "guest mishaps", clearing and refreshing a table without myself or my bride even noticing.
