Q&As

I really love being able to shine a light in the darkness and help people find hope again after loss. I know how it feels, and don't want people to struggle alone. I love using my ability with words, intuition, and training to provide unique and meaningful support that changes lives. I love seeing people improve their lives, live with connection and in the fullest experience while joy and grief coexist.

I was already working as an Occupational Therapist at the time I had a miscarriage and stillbirth. The loss of my son Finley changed my life. I wrote a book within 3 months, sharing our journey. I started supporting families straight away, setting up a charity, and re training as a bereavement doula. I wanted other people to have the support that my family didn't recieve.

My set of skills, knowledge and experience is relatively unique. Choosing to work with me after pregnancy and babyloss including stillbirth, miscarriage, ectopic prenancy, neonatal death or child loss is a calming, supportive, validating, empowering experience. I have supported hundreds of families before, during and after loss with positive results.

When you are pregnant after a loss, I am able to hold hope for you until through our work you find the light of hope yourself and welcome your rainbow baby.

If you are thinking about working with me around another type of loss, or trauma, you too will benefit greatly from my skills.

If you are autistic and finding it challenging in daily life, employment, business or further and higher education then my 15 years experience working as an OT in an autism team can make a huge difference.

I can provide:
3 Step Process trauma relief
Sparkles In The Sadness Healing/coaching
Virtual pregnancy after loss doula
Occupational Therapy assessment and support

Online via video call

Moved my work largely online, and all necessary processes are in place for face to face work

Services

Taking place over 3-4 sessions, via video call or in person, 3 Step Process provides gentle relief after living through a difficult event, for example difficult birth, including miscarriage, stillbirth and neonatal death.

We'd meet each other initially, and practice a gentle relaxation exercise. There is no requirement to share in what has happened in depth (if you do you can feel reassured that the care is trauma informed), though it can be helpful. Session 2 and 3 builds upon this relaxation, giving an opportunity to safely review and reframe what happened. This can help to reduce anxiety, low mood, worrying thoughts, images and sensations

A gentle 90 minute intuitive healing/coaching session, via video or phone call, helping you explore your grief and find some peace even in the darkest depths of loss.

Pregnancy After Baby Loss is a scary, lonely time (i know, i went through it). This 90 minute intuitive session gives you space to explore some of your feelings safely, and gentle healing is offered building space for you to Hold Hope until you hold your rainbow baby.

This service is offered to neurodivergent people, or those affected by mental health issues or grief via video call, over at least 3 sessions. We'd begin with an initial assessment to help me get to know you. This will identify some areas of challenge and together we'll set some goals to help you to move forward in life again.
