Had a few sessions at Infinity Chesterfield/Fifty3degrees when I was back visiting my wife's family and was very warmly welcomed by James and his merry band of grapples. The people training here are incredibly nice, there is not a hint of ego amongst the team and rolls after lessons were intense but controlled. What James taught was also very interesting as it was focused on positions, control and chains of attacks. I truly enjoyed myself and would highly recommend this jiu-jitsu club for anyone seeking proper lessons and a positive training environment. More...

ok so iv just finished my 8 week training for wcb @ fifty3degrees. and i can honestly say if you want to achieve something then the team here are brill. if you want ro take it easy and walk out the place without a sweat on or feel like you have just had a walk in the park give it a miss. but if you want to do something worth doing, feel better in body and in mind then give it a go. over the last 8 week a have felt like giving in and i have called them every name under the sun(when out the doors ) but they know exactly how to get the bast out of you without breaking you to much. when i say body and mind i mean my body took a battering but my mind was bartered before entering the gym. dont ask me how but they have done in 8 week what my doctor has been trying to do in years. they new nothing about me or of my past and probably only just realy know how much better i feel with myself. i may have lost the fight but iv gained so much more so thank you fifty3degrees top lads More...

I first came here whilst taking part in a boxing event for charity and this gym was used for the training, I can honestly say that from day one I felt at ease by the welcoming and friendly atmosphere by everyone at Fifty3degrees! My 11 year old daughter has just started BJJ here and is enjoying it so much, the team are amazing and knowledgable no matter whatever your experience level and I have no hesitation in recommending James and his team. Started at this club about 12 months ago for a beginners course. Being honest I wasn’t expecting much as I’d done a lot of training before and wasn’t looking for anything new. 12 months later I’ve travelled all over Europe, met some amazing people and gained some of the best friends in my adult life. Just been for my first session and i honestly can say i am knackered and clearly i am a full beginner and out of shape and not much of MMA knowledge so basiacally i have been a nuisance but not even once i have made fell like that ,everybody there has been more then welcoming and supportive ,if anyone wants to start at a MMA Gym i can honestly recommend Fifty3degrees by far a 5 star gym

Fifty3degrees really does have something for everyone. Whether you want personal training sessions in the purpose built gym, MMA lessons, beginners classes, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Yoga, Muay Thai, Women only classes or a full range of classes for your little ones starting from Just 2 years old and at very reasonable price.
There is something for everyone to get involved in! The gym is in an easy to access town centre location.
Me and my boy have both fully enjoyed using these facilities so far and the staff do a brilliant job! You always go away from here with a smile on your face!

Fifty3Degrees/Infinity Martial Arts is a fantastic place to train. There's a really friendly and relaxed atmosphere, the level of instruction is second to none in the area and there's a large number of classes available to fit around your routine, including in the mornings. The prices are transparent, excellent value for money and tailored to how often you want to train. My four year old daughter also trains here and absolutely loves it. 2 of my kids have taken up BJJ here, one of them has autism and the focus he gets from These classes is amazing. The trainers are all excellent and you can see they care about their members. The difference we can see in both kids and the skills they have already developed in just a few short weeks is astounding. The classes are fun and the kids can never wait for the next one. That said, I’ve put on quite a bit of weight and have zero fitness so I decided to take the free trial for the fitness classes and I’m absolutely loving them too. My 6 year old son learns BJJ here! He absolutely loves its. James and Tom are awesome with the kids and teaches them to understand each move and explains it in a simple way with games to advance learning. I take part in the Muay Thai classes with Neil Maltby - I have trained at a number of gym but Neil stands out with his knowledge and passion.
