I am very happy to recommend Alex and her family if you are looking for someone to walk your dog or for dog boarding. My cocker spaniel, Reggie, loves going to Alex's house and he had a wonderful stay with them during our last holiday. We have always previously taken family holidays with our lovely doggo, Polly, a 4-year-old goldendoodle, so were anxious about leaving her with a dog sitter. However, our meeting with Alex of Fetch (and family!) relieved us of these concerns. Alex was so warm and natural with Polly that we felt from the get-go that our furriest family member would be treated exactly as this: an extension of the family. Precisely what we were hoping for. Home from home for our Springer! We had never previously left Minnie with anyone away from our home so we were incredibly nervous and anxious but Alex reassured us. We even got updates and photos while we were away. We would have no worries about leaving her with Fetch again and my only reluctance in writing anything else is that more people will use her and we wont it will be harder to book when we need it! Every time we drop off our bulldog Winston, he is jumping out the car at a rate of knots and running to the front door eager to go in! It’s so evident to us that he is incredibly happy and settled with Alex and her family and we go away on holiday safe in the knowing he’s going to have a fabulous time! Fetch really is such a wonderful and safe place for dogs. We have sent Chutni, our working cocker spaniel there many times, even as a very young puppy and the quality of care and affection is incredible. If I could give more stars I would!! Alex has been truly amazing looking after our Cocker Spaniel. He is always so excited when we arrive and cannot wait to get up the drive and into her house, which is testament to the great time he has there. Alex is very professional and the dogs in her care really are treated as if they are her own. I've been extremely fortunate to have found Alex to take look after (from a puppy) our Labradoodle Lola who couldn't be happier and has even made doggie friends of her own (see photo)! Alex and Chris provide a real home from home for dogs. We have only used them for day-care and dog walking but from our first visit to their house to "check them out" our young dog Ellie, and I, have been really I'm pressed and more than comfortable that she will be treated with love and understanding in a really nice home setting. In addition to this I often see Alex and Chris walking dogs in a local park when Ellie likes to join their gang and I can see first hand how professional they both are and how happy dogs are to be in their care. Alex has looked after our rescue dog, Foxy for doggy daycare and to help our parents whilst she has stayed with them when we're away. Foxy loves going there, plays ALL day and comes home happy and tired and ready for bed! Alex has always been incredibly helpful and flexible and even took Foxy for an extra trip out to the garden centre so that she would have a nap and time out from playing. Rather than sending our cat to a cattery whilst we went on holiday, we used Fetch to do home visits and it worked perfectly! Alex visited once or twice every day, fed, played, cuddled and cleared the litter tray (even ended up feeding the goldfish too)! Cats never react well to a change in routine, so for Benji to be able to stay in his own surroundings and still get all the care and attention he needed was fabulous. What a find!! Alex is truly amazing.
My partner and I were nervous to be leaving our pup, after only ever trusting family members to look after him occasionally.
We were stuck for someone to look after him and had left organising arrangements to the last minute! Alex has been an absolute angel and nothing was too much trouble. She answered all my questions and filled me with confidence straight away. Completely genuine, gorgeous family, treats your dog like their own. Couldn’t have asked for anything more! Icing on the cake.....my pup came back one happy boy and very tired from having too much fun!! Wish we’d found Alex sooner!
