I’m Marcus aka DJ Marcus Grant, Founder of Feel Good Frequencies and a fully Open-Format (plays everything) DJ based in Bournemouth, Dorset. In 2018 I graduated from the well known London Sound Academy DJ School and have had the honor of providing my services across a range of events, from small parties through to large wedding events and large clubs across the U.

I booked Marcus for my 30th birthday party for 50 friends. He was brilliant- very quick to respond, friendly to speak to and he really listened to what I wanted from the music (which included some niche Latin American genres - he wasn’t fazed at all and came through strong with the songs! ) My friends and family thought he was great - dj Marcus will be a lasting memory from what was a really fun night! 100% would recommend and will book him again. What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Watching how the crowd responds to certain songs and bringing in more similar songs to keep them signing and dancing.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
My style can be described as fun, energetic and mysterious... I like to use FX that keep you guessing what song is coming next.
What do you love most about your job?
The reaction I get from the people on the dancefloor. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing the smiles on peoples faces and hearing them sing and cheer as I take them on a music journey.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I used to work for a small bar that provided inconsistent gigs and after being approached by a customer to DJ at their wedding, I decided that becoming a Mobile DJ was perfect for me. The freedom, the experience, the travel and the vast range of customers makes it all worthwhile.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am very professional, approachable, personable, and like to spend a good amount of time ensuring that all of your questions are answered and needs are met on the day. Whilst some DJs like to dictate what music you want or need, I like to collaborate with clients to ensure that we capture their must haves and must excludes for the night.

I am very experienced in providing the perfect atmosphere for your Wedding Reception, and will work with you to curate the perfect dancefloor experience to keep you and your guests dancing and singing the whole night.
As part of this, I like to set up a consultation call to confirm your music must haves and what you want to exclude from the night.
