We visited Fanny’s today; unaware that the closing time was within 30 minutes of arrival, We were a table of 5, which is very annoying when you’re wanting to tidy up and go home. From start to finish there wasn’t anything that appeared too much for the ladies working, they were both incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food itself was outstanding, and was freshly prepared. The shop had a large variety of items to purchase, which we couldn’t leave without buying 3 bags full of goodies. Visited here today and sat outside, went in to order to be told to take a seat and someone will be over to take our order. Still waiting to order after half a hour to be told they are “busy” which in all fairness there were lots of empty tables covered in pots. We had to clear our own pots. We ordered a black coffee, a latte and luxury hot chocolate and 3 slices of cake. Another wait of over 20 minutes?! For cake and coffee…..really!! It was brought out eventually in stages of 5 minutes in between each item, completely confused how they are still in business, my black coffee had scum on the top like the cup had been washed in greasy water, the latte was just like tepid milk and the hot chocolate had not been mixed and was just powder. Dirty knife to cut the cake. Left feeling a little sick and definitely won’t be returning such a shame as it could do so well, other places we have visited are far more superior. More...
