A broken switch (badly installed with the boiler and shorting!) meant we had no hot water. Despite it already being late on a Saturday afternoon, Michael responded immediately and drove over from Coatbridge to Edinburgh (ended up a 90-minute drive for him).
30 minutes later it was all sorted and water was heating again. He also pointed out various other problems (like the cable and switch to the boiler being too low rated, and a lack of RCD on the fuse box), which we could lead to a fire, and we will need to deal with...
I would have no hesitation in using Michael again.
