Excellent tuition centre, Leeds Moortown centre

My son has been learning with Explore Learning for more than 3 years, he is very happy in every session with his tutor, he has learnt a lot of English and Maths skills which could support his learning at school and can see he has made significant progress, he is more confident and enthusiasm with his learning. In Sidcup Explore Learning Centre working the best people ever! We are so happy to have opportunity to grow and learn with this Centre!

My son has been attending the Chelmsford branch above Sainsbury’s at Boreham for the last three years, twice a week for the initial two years, then weekly together with the weekly 11+ home study group with his tutor Matt for the past 10 months.

My son has made good progress, growing in his confidence & ability in maths, English & verbal reasoning, though impacted by the Covid lockdown. The weekly 11+ remote home group lessons thankfully continued as normal, though the centre was closed, so my son was reliant on online platform available from home, which whilst easy for the children to uterlise & navigate, missing the support of staff to advise why he has got a question wrong.

Regular periodic meetings with the staff help to monitor progress & discuss any adjustments in their learning requirements is helpful.

The staff are really supportive to the children, both at the centre (Dan, Mel & all of their team, special mention to Mary) & my son’s tutor Matt for 11+ remote group session who is a real asset to the team, patient, super organised & supportive despite trying to study himself.

I would definitely recommend Explore Learning & the Chelmsford branch, thank you! More...

Excellent tutoring - in person and online

We’ve had a great experience with explore learning. They provided invaluable support to my 9 year old twins pre and during the pandemic. An invaluable additional learning aid which my children also found fun and engaging. Unfortunately we have had to cease our sessions due to relocation but I can’t recommend them highly enough.
My children particularly enjoyed their sessions with Piers and Bex. They were fun and educational.

Parent meeting...

Had my parent meeting today for my children and I’m super proud of the progression they have made. After attending Explore Winnersh for the last few years my children have come on leaps and bounds. Their tutor Clare is absolutely amazing and my daughter has even used the methods Clare taught her for long division in school this week and she was so pleased with herself. Thumbs up Explore learning!

Our son has only been with explore learning in Welwyn Garden City less than a year and in that time we have seen him challenged to maximally apply himself and aim for the heights instead of just minimally engaging with his school work because it is such a walkover. But beyond the academic component, I have found the staff especially Erin and Victoria maximally willing to accommodate our ever changing needs and schedules and always with a cheery attitude. Have to say the managers Sim and Hannah at the centre have really given the centre what it needs to bring out the best in children and give them the much needed confidence and support and care! It’s been so tough during lockdown and I have to say explore were brilliant in turning around how they taught the kids in centre to online classes so that kids could still continue to get some education with proper support from teachers!

Explore learning Winnersh offers the right environment for building up my children's confidence in Maths and English. The team is a hardworking and pleasant bunch who go out of their way to support my children's learning! I highly recommend the programme.

Very happy with our experience so far. We are a few weeks Into tuition and my daughter really enjoys coming. She was not keen to have extra tuition initially, but the staff ensure the children have fun and as my daughter says, “they are so kind! ”. The kids have regular Interaction with Staff and other children in the centre so it’s not all computer based and I think it’s good for their social skills too. Excellent experience
My daughter has been using Explore Learning services for around 3 years and sadly, due to relocation, it is coming to an end. I wish there were enough words to express just how wonderful Rid, Alex, and the team of tutors are that work at the Ruislip branch. My daughter has come leaps and bounds from where she began and has truly blossomed in not only school work, but also with her confidence, with the help of the team at Explore Learning. Excellent!
Since we have attended Explore Welwyn classes they have been sensitive to the needs of my daughter and extremely accomodating. She came to Explore with a particularly bad experience of school and struggled with confidence in her skills. Their friendly tutors worked with her throughout lockdown 2020 onwards and they have been a godsend. She hasn't regressed at all she has progressed and is now the best mathematician in year 4 and one of the best in the school.
The lessons have been very flexible we are only online now and with notice we are able to vary them. We pursue both 1:1 and group classes. I am confident that my daughter will have a great shot at some of the best schools in our area.

Outstanding and Well Done to all the Team at Watford Centre
My son joined 2018 and he really help him to improve his English and Maths. I’ve seen him grow with confident a big thank you to all the tutor at Watford Centre. The management team and all the tutors are very friendly that is why my son are super enjoyed going in the Explore Learning Watford Centre. When pandemic strikes they still provide a one on one lessons at home but my son prefer going to the centre instead. And he is very happy to be back at Watford Centre when restrictions are lifted. My son is attending Year 5 11plus and we are very happy for his improvement. I would like to thank Laura the previous director of Watford Centre for being so helpful. Kingston 11+ - Simply Outstanding
My son joined Explore Learning 11+ Programme Online last year at the start of Covid lockdown. We were apprehensive at first as he had not previously attended in centre. However, we have consistently been blown away with the tutors, physical materials, course delivery, additional online resources and support from the centre.

For balance, the only minor issue in 15 months has been administrative on two occasions - both times resolved quickly and professionally. Every three months, we have had a parent review with detailed, comprehensive reports.
The centre is very supportive, continuously takes on constructive feedback for the benefit of the children.

My son has been attending explore learning since middle of May and he as come on so much and the staff are fantastic nothing is too much for them and any question I have gets answered.

We have used Explore Ruislip for both of our daughters.
They are very different with different learning styles and goals but Explore has provided a tailored experience for them both that has really allowed them to work in a way that they are comfortable while getting good results. The team are always happy to listen to concerns and actively solicit feedback from parents and children alike on the sessions.
The sessions are enjoyable and the right side of challenging, and the level is checked often to ensure that it stays that way.

My son absolutely enjoys both his in - centre sessions and his online sessions. Although he has only been with Explore Learning for a month he is already showing signs of improving and gaining new skills. I am reassured as a parent that his best interests are put at the heart of his learning journey. The centre is clean and is ensuring complying with Covid measures. Ever since my Son started online lesson (explore learning) with Miss Codie he’s been fantastic in his reading, spelling and he’s improving in his maths in 6 months with the West Bridgford team in Nottingham and I will recommend friends and family in the UK to take part and they will thank me later. Our daughters have been with Explore Learning (or "Lizards" as we call it!) for the last 3 years. We are hugely grateful for the sessions they had during lockdown/homeschooling over the last 16 months - some were group sessions and some one-to-one. The tutors (both based in Welwyn Garden City and virtual) have made a significant contribution to our daughters' progress and they have stayed on track with the syllabus despite the challenges of the pandemic.

My older daughter is about to complete year 6 and is now ahead of where she needs to be as she starts senior school, thanks to the 11+ course last year. I would highly recommend the Succeed in Secondary course, which covers valuable practical subjects like budgeting.

We receive regular feedback, which is helpful to assess progress and also whether any changes are required to each child's sessions. We appreciate that lessons can be adapted to focus on areas that may need improvement.

My son started with Explore Learning 4 years ago at 5 years old, he is now 8. I was passionate about him developing his knowledge in Maths and English to give him the best possible start for school but also too boost his confidence. Explore learning has done just that!
