We attended for a Nocturnal Experience last weekend that I had been given as a gift, and got to meet a whole host of animals including fruit bats, foxes and a barn owl amongst others. I can not recommend this place enough! It cost us just £12 for two adults and two children, and for that we saw dozens of animal species, held snakes and lizards, chuckled at the armadillos, brushed a miniature horse and ran around with a free-roaming pig! We also spoke to a Parrot, saw some Wallabies dancing, watched some baby meerkats and found a number of owls. All of the animals seem very happy, and the keepers are all friendly and helpful. Fantastic little zoo, hidden away at the back of the garden centre. At £3.50 for an adult it is exceptional value. We spent about an hour and a half to get round it all. But could easily have stayed longer. Great variety of animals, and the staff (the highlight) were all very friendly and helpful, even letting us handle some of the animals; which made it a fantastic and memorable experience. One of the best places of activity in Telford! Loads of animals and enclosures, the staff really know their stuff and are are very helpful and all this for the excellent price of £3.50 for an adult Excellent value!

Fantastic. Excellent value for money we'll worth a visit. It isn't a full day out but at £12 for a family of 4 it's brilliant. An amazing hands on zoo where you can get to hold most of the small animals. And the staff and volunteers really know their stuff. And are happy to talk all day. Parking is free at a small garden centre, which you go in through to get to the zoo. I can't wait to go again. More...

Went today for the first time with the family, being able to get hands on with the animals and seeing what an amazing relationship the animals had with the staff was awesome. Everyone there couldn't do enough to make our experience perfect. And I got to stroke a skunk, I'll be talking about that for weeks, they are so incredibly cute.

Went for xmas tree from lakeside garden centre and ended up going in here...its at the back of the garden centre and we were pleasantly surprised on how much it has changed. So nice to see it transformed from what it was before. Brilliant job. Well done. Lots of animals. (We held a snake). 10 pounds for a family. There's meerkats; sheep; bats; wallabies; fennec foxes; spiders, monkeys and lots lots more. Can't wait to go in the summer. Excellent. Spent 2 hours wandering around. Loved the hands on experience. They have lemurs to owls to tarantulas to donkey and loads more. Great for the kids and sdults too.
