Mark is an absolute gem. We picked mark as our wedding photographer and he was genuinely such a lovely person, really wanted to get to know us as people, and his work speaks for itself! He’s incredible. He captured 850 pictures for us and I really wanted a mix of posed pictures as well as natural photos and he did not disappoint. He made the day so easy and really was fuss free. We had a zoom meeting a couple of days before the wedding which was really helpful so on the day he knew exactly what we wanted and didn’t need to run through anything with us, he just turned up and started clicking away! Mark even stayed a whole extra hour without me even realising just to capture our first dance. I couldn’t thank him enough because they really were some of the most beautiful photos. I requested to go into the woods on the site where were getting married and this was December so it was freezing cold but he was all for it and still managed to keep a smile on his face through the whole thing. He even waited whilst I drank a cup of tea in the middle of the woods to warm up! He was so easy to get on with and multiple people throughout the day came up to me and said what a lovely man he was. We actually got the photos the day after our wedding. Such an unexpectedly quick turn around. I cannot recommend him enough to you. He is worth far more than my 5 star review. We got married at Upton Barn in October 2023. Mark was so supportive of our wedding vision and helped us to feel really at ease as neither of us are confident in having our photo taken. No request was too much and he made us all feel so comfortable. We wanted our photos to be candid and capture natural photos of us and our guests and he did this perfectly, he mixed so well with our family and friends and felt like part of our wedding party. When you book Mark, you’re not just booking a photographer; you’ll come to realise you’re actually just inviting another guest. Having worked in the wedding industry for a few years, Catherine already knew of Mark and had seen lots of his fantastic work. It was, therefore, a no brainer when we were planning our wedding that we wanted Mark to be the one to capture our special day. We were absolutely over the moon when our date was his last one available in 2023 (testament to how amazing he is). From the moment we booked him, Mark was brilliant, helping us to find a videographer, always replying quickly to communication and generally just being one of those suppliers that we knew we didn’t need to worry about. On the day, we barely even noticed Mark was there, he blended in like one of the guests to the point we didn’t even realise he was still there when he came to say bye. He got through the formal photos really quickly and made our couple photos fun. Then comes the super speedy editing!!! We received nearly 900 photos back within 6 days of our wedding!! And they are AMAZING. We absolutely loved reliving our day going through them all and now have our memories captured to treasure forever. Mark was our photographer for our big day at tunnels beaches. We saw Marks work on social media and straight away knew we had to have him capture our special day. We would recommend Mark to anybody looking for a reliable, easygoing, simply amazing photographer. From the first point of initial contact Mark was very efficient and quick with replies and made the whole booking process very simple, answering any questions we had. Mark knew tunnels and all the amazing spots for the best possible photographs- he is very very talented. Mark fitted in with our day perfectly, it was a small wedding with only 16 guests but he made everyone feel completely relaxed the whole day. Mark is a really top professional photographer and we would highly recommend commissioning him if you are having a wedding. Prior to our wedding he had excellent communication with us and really understood what we wanted for our photographs and what photographs they are, over 1800 of them! Mark managed to take photographs throughout our day of us and all our guests but somehow he managed to blend into the background so we weren't even aware that he was there. Mark was absolutely fantastic and we are so happy we decided to use his services. He introduced himself by telling us a lot about him and his history, followed up with a phone call and we really felt we got to know him and liked him instantly. The introduction and speaking with him really sold it for us- a really lovely person just what we wanted for our wedding. His prices are affordable and he also recommended a videographer Tristan as they work together sometimes, this came as a deal and we were also really happy with Tristan. On the day we hardly noticed he was there except when we were in the limelight! He made us feel comfortable and went out of his way to see the venue beforehand and check out local areas for photo opportunities. It didn’t take long to receive a very large preview of our photos and he kept us updated on when to expect the rest. My wife and I got married at the end of July and we couldn't recommend Mark more highly. He took the time to get to know us in the lead up to the wedding, and made sure he understood what we wanted to get from the day in terms of the photography. On the day he was really friendly and fit right in with all of our guests. In the nicest way possible I often didn't even notice him taking the photos! He made us feel really at ease when taking the photos, and whisked us off to get some beautiful private photos on the day, but made sure we weren't missed by our guests for too long. He even grabbed us for some gorgeous sunset photos in the nick of time right when the weather cleared. He sent several hundred preview photos within just a couple of weeks of the wedding date as promised. We couldn't have asked for a better person to have done our photography on our wedding day! Right from the first meeting through to receiving our photos, Mark was really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, not only on the day but with all the planning beforehand. We honestly feel so lucky to have had Mark as our photographer for our wedding. He is very kind and has a warm personality, but is also very professional and knowledgeable, his experience shone through and he fit into our day perfectly! He helped us with any questions or requests we had and helped us all so much in the lead up, and on the day. He not only took photos for us, but went above and beyond with support on the day, one example of this, was with the grooms party getting ready (which was a massive job organising them in itself!). We could not have asked for more from a wedding photographer. From the very first correspondence over email, right through to delivery of pics, Mark has been absolutely top drawer. He genuinely cared about us having the best day - you could tell this is more than just a job for him. With a lot for us to worry about, Mark made everything as easy as possible on the photography front, and was very patient when it took forever to organise the group shot! In addition, he's clearly an incredibly skilled photographer, as you can see from his photos, offers a very reasonable rate, and delivered our preview photos (still hundreds!!) the week after our wedding. Mark is the best photographer that you will find. He is incredibly passionate about his craft and this shows in his photos! We have so many gorgeous ones it’s hard to pick which ones to ogle over. Mark’s communication is fantastic, he’s always efficient with his responses and is just so friendly. Mark is an amazing photographer who captured the most perfect moments of our day. He works incredibly well with Tristan (Videographer) and both come together effortlessly to create amazing content. Mark was very thorough prior to our big day and asked all the right questions and made notes of everything we wanted/expected on the day so it ran seamlessly so we could enjoy the day. I'm not very confident in front of a camera posing, but Mark made it very easy for me, directing me on how to pose and what to do made it a lot easier to take pictures! If you’d like an incredibly skilled but really chilled wedding photographer, Mark at Evolve gets 20 out of 10 stars and we would recommend him time after time. When my husband told me he’d booked our wedding photographer, I’ll admit I was quite nervous. I’m a bigger girl with little self-confidence who hates being in front of any camera, even my husband’s whose hobby is photography! Would the photographer be nice? Did they know our venue? Could they make me feel and look like a princess on camera, which so often adds several pounds and was sure to antagonise my body confidence issues?! Yes, yes and yes! This lovely yet professional chap made us feel like pure royalty on our wedding day. His work is truly stunning and his talent lies in capturing the natural beauty and rawness of a scene, discreetly yet awe inspiringly so, without the need for heavy editing or excessive posing. He began with an email in good time ahead of our consultation meeting. Having completed SO MANY supplier forms, I found myself actually enjoying completing Mark’s “let me get to know you” form. More importantly, I really felt like he enjoyed reading it - it was clear when we met him he had taken the time to read and digest it all. (In case you can’t tell, I’m rubbish at keeping things brief and my form answers were no different!). For our initial meeting he offered the usual - phone call, Zoom etc, but he had also really picked up on my anxieties and knew that I’d benefit from a face to face chat. Testament to his emotional intelligence and people skills. He took time to get to know us and our love of cats - so how perfect (or purrfect?) that he shared in this love, taking the time to show and tell us all about his own majestic felines. He made us feel like he had all the time in the world for us during our meeting, didn’t rush us and didn’t seem to mind when we kept going off topic with yet another life story - he was right there with us, laughing and smiling throughout. It may be cliché but it honestly felt like we were drinking tea with an old friend, yet it was the first time I had ever met him. Then it was the little details - like WhatsApp messages “from his cats” in the lead up to wish us sunshine or a social media well wishing post on the day of our wedding (with a cat photo of course!). These memorable, friendly but not intrusive messages were instrumental in calming our nerves and reassuring us we had chosen not only a photographer, but a friend for the day, who boosted our confidence beyond measure. Mark was gentle, kind and encouraging with us and our guests, incredibly accommodating to our last minute requests and even came up with a hilarious photo game which our DJ, videographer and even Mark himself joined in with - included in the attached photos! A real highlight of the evening which our guests are still talking about over a month later! On the day, the weather was HORRENDOUS, and the accommodation and venue spread out so poor Mark had to keep running around in the rain, but he brought the sunshine with his smile and humour. His calming influence made us forget what the sky was doing and reminded us why we were really there. He worked tirelessly all day to ensure we still got those all important classic shots, just slightly adapted for the weather, as well as some resulting hilarity! We asked for candid shots, classic shots, funny shots, group shots, scenic shots and golden hour shots if the sun came out (which it eventually did in the evening!). Mark delivered all this and more - in fact you wouldn’t even know we had bad weather. He was adaptable, flexible and patient. And when I told him I was jealous of the sunny weather a couple had who he was photographing the next day, he responded perfectly by reminding me I don’t need just another wedding magazine shot - that the rain brought fun and laughter and he had enjoyed himself all the more for it! We booked an elopement wedding at The Green, Cornwall and opted to add wedding photography to our package. I was advised that Mark @ Evolve Photography had been booked to attend as our photographer and witness. Most people spend a fair bit of time choosing a photographer for their wedding so I was initially a little concerned that this was out of my hands. The first thing I did was check out his Facebook page and was instantly relieved - it was clear that Mark is fantastic at what he does!I got in touch with Mark a few weeks prior to the wedding to introduce myself and he was keen to know if we had any specific requirements. I advised Mark that we are both normally camera shy (we have very few photos that we like of ourselves) and he was quick to reassure us that we would be fine.Mark did an amazing job of capturing our wedding day in the hours he was with us and we were so pleased (and shocked) with how many photos we like! We had our Elopement ceremony last week at the Green in Cornwall.The Green recommended Mark from Evolve to be our photographer for the day. Mark immediately put us both at ease, which meant we were able to relax before and throughout the ceremony, whilst the photographs were being taken. We felt we could be ourselves and there was a great mix of both romantic and fun shots.We received the full set of edits today and we are over the moon with the final results! Mark came recommended as our photographer through The Green Cornwall. Mark was very friendly and asked a lot of questions to get to know us, which automatically made us feel comfortable. We got married with just the two of us and our 14 month old son. At that age he can be a handful and also doesn’t take well to men. On our wedding day he was so happy and calm throughout. We had an issue with timings but Mark was incredibly patient and used his iniative when a few things were out of our control. We quickly received a sneak preview of photos which was completely unexpected and definitely made us smile from ear to ear. He is an incredibly talented photographer and captures exactly what you imagined but even better. The photos that he managed to capture are truly beautiful!
