Fencing - off the shelf and bespoke
In addition to supply and fit of standard panels, I have also built a wide variety of functional yet decorative continuous post and rail fences, including: close board, overlap, and even cedar slatted in both vertical and horizontal board orientations. Using high quality timber and post protection and UV protection where required, results in a long lasting decorative statement in any garden.
Patio Maintenance and construction
A beautiful patio is an asset to any home. Whether you simply want your patio pressure washing, re-pointing, relaying or a new patio laid I can help. Recent projects have included:
- a 55 square metres Indian sandstone patio, including a raised area for a hot tub beneath a gazebo (that I also supplied and constructed)
- a 60 square metres Indian sandstone patio on four levels, complete with raised beds I constructed from reclaimed bricks to match existing walling at the property
- a 20 square metres extension to an existing patio
- full renovation of a patio, including pressure washing, removal of all mortar pointing, and repointing with professional jointing compound
Interior decorating
I undertake many aspects of internal decorating, including:
- Painting. Whether a full house repaint (for instance rental properties between tenants), or painting a single room in either your home or a commercial property, I will achieve a quick and high quality result for you.
- Tiling. Recent projects have included a large house bathroom and an en suite. Both were all four walls, floor to ceiling, and included tiled floors over underfloor heating. I've also tiled numerous kitchen splashbacks, often in decorative patterns. I'm happy to work with stone, ceramic or porcelain.
- Other decorating services. I get many more unusual requests - recently I put up 42 blinds at a local school, so it's always worth getting in touch to see if I can help.
Exterior Decorating
Recent projects have included:
- strip down, replacement of rotted wood and repaint of all sash windows in a cottage
- replacement of rotted section of a door frame, and repaint
- masonry paint to the full exterior of a house
- painting of doors, windows and garage door
General handyman services
In addition to the larger projects I have also completed a wide variety of 'odd' jobs. here are just a few:
- Full renovation of a treehouse (see images!)
- Removal of a double glazed door panel, replacement with upvc, and installation of cat flap.
- Hanging of various pictures, mirrors and even a very large format vintage map
- Creation of a 'henge', using oak sleepers set vertically in concrete and then hard landscaped around
- Repair of children's play area according to a health and safety report recommendations.
As you can see, I'll turn my hand to most things, but even if I can't help, I have an extensive contact list of trusted specialists so it's always worth reaching out to me.
