What do you love most about your job?
I have always loved events. The best part is seeing an initial idea/theme grow into the final product and all the progress steps along the way. Then, seeing the happiness on clients faces is what makes it all worth while.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I enjoy the freedom of being able to work with a variety of clients and venues on many different events, which if I were to work for a venue, I may not get the chance to do. Being a sole trader allows me to offer a truly personal service and really get to know my clients and their preferences.
Why should our clients choose you?
I will always treat a clients event as if it were my own. Clients and events are never a number, they are individuals and should be treated as such. Some events will need a lot more preparation than others and therefore, every event has to be treated with great care and attention to make sure nothing is overlooked.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes of course, all event preparation can be prepared through online meetings, video calls and digital documentation. The only service that cannot be offered online is if the client wishes for me to run their event on the day. This is something that I feel should be executed in person.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
It is very important to keep my clients safe and therefore meetings that would have taken place in person can be offered online or via video link, site visits are advisable to wear a mask (for the client this is now their own choice) and social distancing has been maintained throughout site visits.
Design Service
This service is included as a FREE extra for my clients when they opt for the full works package. One option per client is included as a free extra (ie., save the date cards)
I offer a digital design service for place cards, save the dates, invitations, welcome signs, order of service and many other options that can be personalised to your personal tastes and preferences.
Knowing where to start with designs can be daunting as there are so many styles, so this allows me to guide you through the process and design something personal to you.
RSVP Service
Keeping track of all your invites can feel very overwhelming at times for clients. My RSVP service means I can make a record of all the details regarding your guests accommodation requirements, dietary requirements, whether they will be attending and all other information you need at the drop of a hat. If you would like someone to deal with sending and posting invitations, this is also possible. All I require is a few basic details.
Full works planning service
This package is perfect for clients with busy lives, who would like to organise their event but just don’t have the spare time. This includes:
- FREE initial meeting about the event
- Sending invitations and dealing with all RSVPs
- Venue research
- Organising appointments and venue meetings (site visits, menu tasting etc)
- Supplier research, negotiating contacts, and finalising bookings and contracts. (Photographers, caterers, florists and entertainment etc)
- Organising Hen and Stag parties (for weddings and if required)
- Liaising with the venues and suppliers leading up to the event
- Managing the event on the day.
Included as extra for FREE:
- Design service (one item to choose from): Save the dates/Invitations/Welcome Sign etc
Support Package
This package is designed for clients who want to manage the main elements of their events but just need a little extra support along the way with tasks such as venue and supplier research, sending invitations and organising appointments etc. This can be at the clients request.
