Had a damp problem with the a small area of the concrete floor within our conservatory. The surveyor on his inspection was able to accurately diagnose the likely cause and provide an estimate for the work to rectify. Old Concrete was removed , new DPC laid and fresh concrete back to floor level. This work was carried out quickly and efficiently by the team and well supervised by the surveyor who saw the work through from start to finish. Having suffered major flood damage we contacted Eurodamp Ltd in Stockport to rectify both a long standing underlying damp problem and damage caused by flooding to three of our downstairs rooms. The service we received from the surveyor and all the work team was very professional and excellent from start to finish. The work involved removing all plaster to the rooms affected, installing a damp proof course membrane and re-plastering all the walls. The team also opened up our fireplace involving structural work and further plastering. Throughout the works Eurodamp’s team were very attentive to detail and also appreciative of our request for them to retain the quaint nature of our cottage. We had some serious rising damp issues in our lounge. The Eurodamp team provided a comprehensive solution taking the damp wall back to brick and tanking it and installing a chemical DPC. We used EuroDamp in Stockport to deal with dampness that we discovered in our property. Their surveyor quickly diagnosed where it was coming from and the work that would be required to deal with it. The job - which involved hacking off old damp plaster from two rooms to expose the brickwork - was undertaken professionally and without too much mess. They also provided a de-humidifier to help speed up the drying out of the exposed brickwork. Whilst this was underway their surveyor visited us a number of times to assess when the re-plastering work could commence. Throughout the whole job we were impressed by the concern shown by the workmen and the surveyor to deal with the sources of the dampness so as to prevent it from happening again. Thank you everybody at Eurodamp UK for the works you have carried out. I must say the surveyor went above and beyond their agreed works schedule with some additional extra works including making a disability ramp for my mother who was having trouble getting into her new house. They carried out the structural works and fitted complete new timber joists and floor boards throughout the ground floor due to woodworm and wet rot problems. Now the house looks like brand new. Eurodamp Ltd ( Part of the Eurodamp Group ) carried out a damp proof course, Cavity wall ties replacement and completed a very complex basement conversion on our home and we are very pleased with the way the surveyors carried out the inspection and the workmen was very polite and our home was cleaned and left tidy after each day.
