I'm an Edinburgh based photographer, specialising in portraiture, still life, product and landscape photography. I have been working on personal projects for two years. I also do a bit of collaging and I'm currently working on a friends EP cover which will have the form of a collage. I would be happy to discuss potential projects with you!

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
I would say research is the most reliable source for any type of photography. From seeking inspiration to location scouting to being there ahead of time to check the lighting conditions. The most valuable guide would always be researching and preparing yourself.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What type of project is it? What's the idea or meaning behind it? What are you looking for? What type of genre are we focusing on? What are your ideas? What is the mood? What is the location? Who and how many people am I shooting? How much time will I have for the shooting? Is it an outdoor or indoor shooting? How many photographs are you looking to receive? Would you like prints or just digital copies? What's the deadline?
What do you love most about your job?
I think most photographers would say that shooting is the best part. Because you finally put all the elements you have gathered together to bring your idea to life. Organizing and researching are also very enjoyable, but I feel most in my element when I shoot.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I love being my own employer, I work better as a freelancer. I am able to meet clients' needs and make a plan without feeling stressed because I know myself best. I feel like I have full control of my work and that's what makes me happy.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am friendly, curious, flexible, and very receptive. I will work to bring your ideas come to life. I am also happy to put my input at any minute and take the lead when ideas have not fully developed.
