What do you love most about your job?
I love working with students in order to help them be as successful as possible. No two tutor lessons are ever the same, and I find that the students can be inspiring in their commitment and also the insightfulness they bring to their studies. I really enjoy listening to their thoughts and ideas, especially when studying literature texts and poetry.
What inspired you to start your own business?
When my own son was 12, I took him out of mainstream education and began home-schooling. I really enjoyed this experience and it inspired me to want to work in a similar way in my own business, having the time and freedom to respond in a more individual way, rather than a one size fits all approach to education.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have extensive teaching experience and excellent qualifications, and will always put my heart into doing the best I can to help students succeed, listening and responding to each student as an individual. I am very reliable and also flexible in my work to accomodate students' circumstances.
My experience as a GCSE and AS English Language and Literature examiner gives me first-hand knowledge about what examiners are looking for and I can pass this on to students, giving them a real advantage.

I teach online using a zoom account which doesn't cost the client anything to dowload.
I provide feedback online via email and mark work using shared google docs.
I have hundreds of useful resources I can share with students via email at no extra cost.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
As I only work online, I haven't had to make any changes.
