I help teenagers in years 9-11 to improve their GCSE English grades by identifying weaknesses in their written work, providing detailed feedback, and delivering structured lessons to plug gaps in their knowledge. The 1:1 tutorials I offer allow me to tackle each student’s learning challenges and ensure they make rapid progress.

What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to provide detailed feedback on students' work. You just can't do that when you teach 30 students in a class. I love seeing 'the penny drop' when my tutees understand something.
What inspired you to start your own business?
A desire to make a difference to individual students and to ignite a lifelong passion for English language and literature.
Why should our clients choose you?
I'm a fully qualified English teacher with very recent experience in the classroom. I have a background in writing, so I can create bespoke materials that really work for your child. English language is one of my specialisms so I can support your child effectively in improving their literacy. I'm incredibly hard working and committed to getting results for each and every student.

VIP 1:1 tutorials
The whole point of having a 1:1 online English GCSE tutor is it’s all about you: your needs, your ambitions, your progress.
That’s why we always start off your course with a 15 minute chat: so that you can tell me what you’re aiming for and what you feel is holding you back.
I then plan a series of lessons that will help you to achieve the result in English that you need. We’ll meet up once a week online – usually on the same day, at the same time, so that we can both keep track of things easily.
Every week you’ll get:
-a recording of our lesson
-a brief written report on your progress
-detailed feedback on your written work
-emailed copies of resources that I’ve created for you
Small group online tuition
Do you feel a bit ‘lost’ in your English classes at school? Perhaps the teacher moves too quickly? Maybe you feel you need a bit more of a challenge? Working in pairs or small groups with your online GCSE English tutor could be for you.
Here you will work on a new set text or skill. In our weekly lessons, I’ll make sure that all your questions are answered and that you’ve completely grasped new concepts before we move onto the next challenge.
