Very terrible gym. I signed up to the gym and they billed me 2 times for my gym membership (The sign up fee is €59.99, so they billed me €120). They dented my account the following month for 2 gym memberships even though I only had 1 membership. I cancelled my account that month. I reached out by phone and email and I received a refund 28 days after I was issued the refunds. Even though I had cancelled my account they continued to bill my account for 2 months after. I sent an email requesting for a refund. They wanted to issue my refund to in 28 days. I went to my bank so I would get my refund in 3 working days. More...

The Learn to Lift class is empowering to anyone who has ever felt even slightly intimidated by the weight equipment in the gym. Taught by experienced women, the class is for anyone who needs to learn to lift. I've gained SO much confidence, both from the instructors and from the other class participants. A sense of community is building around this class and I find it quite rewarding. I hope this class continues for a long time and would encourage consideration of more classes or variants on the class. In general I love this gym, staff are lovey, greet me by my name! The only downside is the limited hours, it opens at 6. 30 AM (and a few instances where it has been slightly late). I used to love training here, great staff and members and over all the gym is basic but suits most peoples needs I took my original review down as I believed we could resolve the issue amicably, but to no avail. Avoid Energie Sandhurst at all cost, the owner condones threats of violence towards its members from his gym manager and when I try to resolve the issues I’m threatened with the police being called on me and then my membership being cancelled. Shame as the place has two great members of staff in Martin the personal trainer and Hayley a class instructor. It took 6 days to respond to my email regarding the issue and there has been no investigation done, all that’s happened is I’ve had my membership cancelled Avoid at all cost Join the local snap fitness instead Edit again 2/9/22 I was today approached by the manager whilst shopping who then proceeded to tell me he thought I was having a mental breakdown due to my online review of the club, now for a brand who supposedly promotes mental health awareness this is an utter disgrace! The equipment is fab and there is a friendly atmosphere. There could be few more class offerings and I wish they had signage up encouraging users to wipe machines after use. Also some members tend to hog certain equipment ie leg press for 30 mins which is unnecessary so would be good to see signage informing them to move off after certain time frame.
