What do you love most about your job?
Meeting clients and helping them achieve their wishes to what is the best solution for them. Also to be able to give them advice and to help them understand complex issues they may not have considered and relay back to them in simple terms.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always working in Financial Services and then I set up on my own in 2005 in Financial Services, specialising in Mortgages & Protection. I then realised clients needed advice on Estate Planning, after all we were handling one of their most important purchases and ensuring they were protected should anything happen to them or their family, so it seem right to training in Wills & Estate Planning and to be able to add another professional service to our portfolio for clients. We also have access and work closely with other legal professionals for complex Estate / IHT / Trusts to ensure our clients have the best advice for their needs.

We are a small team, and clients who know us always say how approachable and friendly we are and handle everything for them efficiently and professional and this is why our business has grown on referrals.

Although our offices are based in Newcastle - under -Lyme, Staffordshire. We do offer a home visit service for some clients within a reasonable travelling time. However we have adapted the last few years and also with technology we are now able to offer meetings via Telephone if you prefer and which is now proving more popular are zoom / teams meetings so you feel as though you are in the office with us! we have also recently launched our online portal which is linked to our professional software and you can create a simple Will yourself online if you prefer.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Since COVID appeared we have adapted and now can offer remote appointments via zoom/ teams / telephone or even our online portal for simple Wills.
Will Writing
Whether you need a simple single or mirror Will or full estate planning we can offer advice on what is appropriate for your circumstances.
Lasting Powers of Attorney
We can advice and arrange Lasting Powers of Attorney which are so important, so you can have your Attorneys to manage your affairs should you need them to or should you loose capacity.
Estate Planning
We can also offer a full estate planning service should your estate be more complex and require Trusts to protect your assets.
Probate
We offer a service for Probate services and you will be given a fixed fee for this service as many solicitors charge by the hour / % of the estate which can be quite costly.
