I’m really glad Ryan got in touch with me on Bark last year.
Ryan has helped me massively with my physical health condition I have.

Personal Trainers

For someone that has only stepped a foot in the gym once or twice in my life, I'm extremely impressed with Ryan. Before I had started, I had the preconception of "you do you, here's the plan and do your thing", with little to no support. But that was me making excuses in avoiding the gym.

Ryan is a highly skilled PT, extremely patient and approachable, who always finds small corrections in your exercise, that have helped in the long run. From being pushed beyond my limits, to being motivated to keep going or being "punished" for doubting myself in my personal life😂 It has been an amazing experience with him.

I would highly recommend Ryan.

Over the past seven years, Ryan has helped me and my husband build fitness to tackle specific physical challenges such as tough mountain treks and continues to provide constant guidance and support to help us maintain total body flexibility and core strength.

At a personal level, he was also instrumental in helping me stay mobile and fit, before and after a hip operation. The cardio work and specific exercises designed to build strength and flexibility were key to managing my pain pre-op and my speedy recovery post-op.

His approach is holistic and fun but be prepared for a bit of ‘tough love’!

Being a late starter in fitness I was extremely nervous about the gym or any exercising. Ryan straight away gave me the confidence that I can actually turn things around. Not everybody is created equal and after 15 years professional industry experience we have worked with many different clients all aiming for varying goals. Sorry to respond so bluntly but here's our explanation,

With correct exercise and eating habits performed on a regular basis it is scientifically proven for a human being to not suffer from any form of obesity unless medically exempt.

That's exactly what we do here, we lay the foundations to an everlasting healthier life. Teaching you all the necessary skills and fundamentals to achieving not just the body of your dreams NOW but for years to come.

Quite simply seeing people improve using the tools and techniques you've shown them. If you're not in the industry to that reason as a coach then you're in it for the wrong reasons.

March 2020 - COVID

After 13 years of working for big companies such as Virgin Active and most recently Nuffield Health it really hit home over the COVID lockdowns that people out there still need help and guidance yet the gyms wouldn't support that ideology of a coach.

I had clients begging me to stay in touch and help them through the most difficult time of a lifetime - something I wish my kids never haver to endure growing up again.

I opted to help those in need and naturally it felt good helping, quickly realising that the way in which I went about things not only benefitted those I coached but found myself happier within.

Once the gyms where open again I went back with a different mindset, basically brushing the cobwebs off my brain book (dream job 2.0) and decided now is the time to pursue that goal.

Now I love what I do again after so many years and shall continue to provide the energy and guidance to those in need.

I don't want to use the term " I'm not like your typical PT" but if you as a reader right now can take your perception of a 'PT' then scrunch that thought process into a ball and kick it as far as you can then you're on the right track.
