I have been house and pet sitting for 4 years, and have done sits in many countries around the globe. I cannot visit your home to care for animals, but I can stay in your home to provide this service.
I appreciate all of the requests to contact, but it's quite expensive to reply to you simply to say I'm not available, or that I only do online teaching.

Elana (pronounced like banana!) is lovely - a very experienced sitter who knows how to engage with a new environment easily. The fact that Elana has sat for us more than once is proof of our recommendation.

I liked Elana from the moment I saw her. She is self confident, easy to get on with and an animal lover.
And that is what we needed. I was going away for six weeks and my two cats were going to need love and attention in my absence. And that is what they got from Elana, lots of love, so much that even Louie who is not a sociable cat will jump on her lap and stay there purring.
Unfortunately my other cat was sick, still on antibiotics, but she was fantastic coping with him, finding ways to give him the medication. I knew I could relax, I had a gem at home and that is priceless.
Good communication, sending videos and pictures all the time, even creating a WhatsApp group including the vet.
The house was kept clean and tidy.
She is coming back to me in September.

If you are looking for someone who will care for your fur babies as if they were their own, you have found that person with Elana! I could not begin to explain how wonderful Elana was over the 14 days she cared for our babies... Our 17 year old cat had an emergency with his eye within 3 days of us leaving, but Elana reached out to us right away and we had time to rush him to an emergency vet clinic.
Had she not noticed the issue and notified us right away, he would have lost his eye, so we are forever grateful.
To make things worse, the issue happened again the following week and Elana drove our baby a ferry away and a couple hours drive from our home, to make sure he would receive emergency care with no delay.
Throughout all the issues, Elana kept us informed a few times each day and pretty much took on a full time job giving our cat his dozens of eye drops each day and his medications... She never once suggested it might be too much for her and really stepped up to make sure our cat would heal.
My husband, myself and even our emergency vet are all so impressed by her care, attention to detail, compassion and dedication to both our cats during this very stressful time.
Furthermore, we had to come back home for 3 nights throughout this stay in order to provide additional care and support to our elder cat; once again, Elana was very understanding of the situation. She was pleasant to be around, we shared great conversations and we will definitely stay in touch.
This sit was our first experience on this website and we were so nervous to welcome a stranger in our home, especially due to the health issues our elder cat often develops. After several emails & phone conversation, we felt Elana would be the best fit for our babies; we never expected the situation to become so dire but we are so relieved that we chose the world's most caring pet & house sitter on our first time!

It is nearly impossible to put into words how amazingly happy we are that Elana looked after our girls! She literally won them over the first night to the point where we are pretty sure they did not miss us at all. Her friendly nature and flexibility were fantastic. She's a very go with the flow kind of person. At one point our internet went out and knowing it's essential for her work, I started to full on panic but her response was basically these things happen. Elana gave us the peace of mind that our old ladies were having the times of their lives and not remotely stressed by our departure. She's so great that we've already begged her to come back and she has agreed!! Yay!! It's one of those reviews where you're like should I be honest that she is so amazing because then she might get booked up when we need her again. But in all seriousness.....she is a fantastic person and incredible with animals and she is just all around a great person.

We feel so lucky that we found Elana to take care of our cat Canelita during our vacation. We got to spend some time with her before we left and we were delighted about how easy and uncomplicated Elana fit right in. She even made friends with our shy and skittish kitty which is short of a miracle. She sent us daily updates with photos of Canelita and we enjoyed our vacation knowing that Elana was taking care of everything at home. Elana sat for me twice recently. She communicated well with me, keeping me informed of her plans and how things were going. She is well organised and very responsible. I had such a wonderful experience having Elana house and pet sit for me! When my plans changed abruptly (one of my dogs became ill), she was still willing to come and help out in any way she could and she provided loving support. My travel plans changed and I took shorter trips away from home in case of an emergency with my dog. Elana promptly kept me informed throughout the days with any concerns or positive changes regarding my dogs condition, including sending videos. She kept the house neat and clean and is environmentally conscious. Elana is a very responsible, kind, upbeat and considerate person. I would highly recommend her and would have her sit for me again in the future!

Jolie, my adorable scaredy-cat dog fell in love with Elana, and so did I! Elana was a dream come true - she lavished Jolie with love and earned her trust and cared meticulously for my house during my long trip. Jolie is hard to win over due to many years of mistreatment before arriving at an animal shelter. Friends who visited Elana while I was away all sent me glowing reports. Elana is cheerful, helpful, and takes initiative. I especially enjoyed her healthy life style. So glad Elana will return in a few months for my next trip. I can't praise her enough!
