We understand that no two children are alike - our core aim is to provide a tailored home tutoring service to ensure that the specific learning needs of your child are met. We employ only the most dedicated and subject qualified tutors who strive to make sure that your child reaches their highest academic potential. Tuition can be provided for all subjects on the National Curriculum at every level including Key Stages (1,2,3), 11+, GCSE and A-Level.
We charge £29 per hour for tuition sessions at all levels. Our hourly rate is all inclusive and completely transparent. We never bill for more than what has been arranged beforehand and there are no hidden costs.
Key Stage 1 Tutoring (Years 1 and 2)
Your child's attitude to learning is cemented in the initial years of primary school and our tutors can help improve their reading and numeracy skills as well as provide support across various subjects. Our tutors will build upon the achievements that fuel your child’s self-belief and confidence to encourage learning and development.
Key Stage 2 Tutoring (Years 3, 4, 5, 6)
At Key Stage 2, the number of subjects being learnt increases, therefore your child must have a solid grasp of the core skills of reading, writing and arithmetic. Our tutors have the capability to support learning across all subjects within the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
Key Stage 3 Tutoring (Years 7, 8, 9)
The beginning of secondary school poses a number of challenges as students adapt to a range of compulsory subjects required to be studied. We understand that not every child progresses at the same pace or has a strong aptitude for every subject, which can dent confidence and also have a knock on effect on other subjects. Our tutors can help boost your child's learning across various subjects and specific topics within these.
11+ Tutoring
Our tutors make English, Mathematics and Science engaging to help your child develop the knowledge they need to succeed for 11+ exams. We quickly identify your child's strengths and weaknesses to support them in understanding various subject / topical areas. Certain skills such as verbal and non-verbal reasoning are also routinely tested. Our tutors can help your child with 11+ practice papers, familiarising them with the format and preparing them for what to expect. We believe children perform best when they are happy and motivated which is why our dynamic tutors strive to make subjects fun to learn.
GCSE Tutoring
GCSEs are an important landmark as they are likely to be the first set of major examinations your child will sit across a breadth of subjects. Whether your child requires clarity of understanding in mathematical topics or is struggling with English coursework, we can provide help. All of our tutors are passionate subject-area specialists, skilled in communicating their knowledge and supporting your child's learning processes with bespoke programmes of tuition. Exam technique is critical at GCSE level and our tutors can teach your child on how to approach questions, manage time, revise effectively and meet assessment criteria - in short, how to maximise their exam performance.
A-Level Tutoring
A-Levels are significantly more demanding than GCSEs and require an in-depth understanding of complex topics and concepts. These examinations will also determine which university your child will attend. Our A-Level tutors are able to guide your child through this critical point in their schooling with the knowledge, passion and patience to make a real difference. We will quickly identify strengths and weaknesses to target problem areas of understanding. No issue or area of uncertainty is swept under the carpet and our tutors will always encourage teenagers to ask questions and to speak up if they are feeling confused.
