One quick call to Edinburgh Lock Centre Lionel identified the problem promptly.
As the lock was no longer manufactured he ordered replacement, made sure our door was secure and returned the following day and fitted new lock.

A great experience !! was needing locks changed asap on a Friday night was a bit worried about getting 1 so late on a Friday night but they came out within the hour! very reasonable to boot !!!!

I was locked out on a very cold night. Phoned this company who arrived within 15 min . The locksmith insisted on me sitting in his van while he attended to the problem within ten minutes it was done and dusted by this very efficient young man and charged a good price for his time

Unlike other locksmiths I phoned, Lionel took the time to understand the problem & to briefly talk through the possible causes, solutions & cost. When here, he worked quickly & effectively showing obvious experience & expertise. He also gave me several tips on how to manage the door & lock to better avoid the problem recurring and was happy to talk it through with my daughter and show her how to open the door more smoothly (it can be tricky for little hands!). Only company to even get the phone at midnight. they very clearly asked me the right questions to determine what was wrong and what was have to repire my upcv system.
