Edinburgh Hypnosis was set up by Stuart Douglas after training with the acclaimed Scottish School of Hypnotherapy and qualifying as a Life Coach. He is a member of the National Society of Professional Hypnotherapists.
Stuart trained as an accountant, but his real passion is helping people.

I am a recently retired hypnotherapist (trading as Dalgety Bay Hypnotherapy), and former member of the Advisory Council of the National Society of Professional Hypnotherapists (NSPH). I have attended a number of residential NSPH training courses and so have had good opportunities to assess him, both professionally and personally. Hypnotherapy, like many professions is also a bit of an art. You need good training, (which he has), but you also need that "something extra" that makes you good at it. As someone that was really skeptical about hypnotherapy, I have to say that Stuart really changed my mind.
I only went in for a few sessions to help deal with anxiety and stress, but after just a few session not only did I feel much less anxious I learned some great techniques to help cope in the future.
My sense of self worth and confidence really sky rocketed and I felt great..

I had a session with Stuart to help me deal with pain I was having in my neck and head. Before my session I was a little apprehensive about hypnotherapy, as I didn't know exactly what to expect.
