My name is Ece Kartalkanat. I am a fitness professional from London. ​I started this journey being overweight, unfit and severely unhappy with my life. I wanted to make a change and learn more about health, which included all aspects of health from mind to body.

Q&As

I help clients by understanding first. There is always a reason why someone hasn't reached their personal goals thus far and requires assistance. For some it's education, for others it it's a of motivation. Whatever it is that my client was 'missing' before, I help them through the process of gaining that. As well as a personalised program and nutrition coaching that is tailored to the individual. Measurements are taken monthly to keep record of the progress. I also guide clients with lifestyle habits such a sleep, managing stress levels.

There is no secret. A good coach, consistency, effort and commitment is what is important.

What I love most is when people realise what they can actually achieve. When clients become stronger and achieve things they never thought they could; that is a happy moment. It's like discovering a super power within yourself. I like to see that.

I was very unhealthy and unfit when I first started my own journey. I didn't know what I was doing half the time. I felt embarrassed in the gym and self conscious of the fact that I didn't know what I was doing. When I learnt how to train in the gym, I decided I wanted to help others that feel how I did. I had personal trainers help me back then, now I can help others.

I now provide online/ remote training to clients. It can be very beneficial for those who need flexible times. It also costs less than in person training, which can be great for those who can't afford higher prices. Over the lockdown period I trained many clients online and achieved amazing weight loss results with every single client.

Services

I help women and men reach their fitness goals through weight training and nutrition coaching. No quick fixes here. I help clients establish a healthy routine and replace unhealthy habits with healthy ones. With me you will learn how to become fit in a way that you will be able to keep up for a long time.
