Recommended Drone by a colleague. Was really happy to receive this recommendation as Joe and his team have been a great asset in producing a video for my client. They used a variety of techniques (not just drone!) and pace getting a great end result. On site Joe was so professional but really friendly and had the confidence to gently push the subjects to get the best results! My deadlines and turnaround times have been tight but Drone has met them every time, moving things around and never making you feel like any request is too much trouble. Really good experience working with Joe from Drone Overview. I'm a filmmaker and videographer, but I outsource aerial work to specalists. Working with a design agency on an important project for a client, we needed someone who would produce great footage but who was also near the location. This was because of the legal requirements of working near an airport, but also to be able to go out at short notice to capture imagery at a specific time of day when the weather conditions were optimum. This meant that it was unlikely I or a client representative would be able to attend the shoot, so the filming had to be done to a fairly tight brief. Joe was very flexible in meeting all our requirements and produced some great looking material delivered on time. What do you love most about your job?
Watching the amazement on somebodies face when they see something from an unseen perspective for the very first time. That has to be the best part of the job, its one of the most innocent and beautiful emotions we have as humans. We live in a 3 dimensional world, why should we limit ourselves to a 2 dimensional view of it!?
What inspired you to start your own business?
Ooo interesting question! We believe aerial photography and videography is a way of life. Once you've got the bug... you're in. We spent every waking moment planning, prepping and flying our drones anyway. Starting Drone Overview was the most obvious decision ever.
Why should our clients choose you?
We're a very friendly and fun bunch to be around! :) We bring a creative eye to the table and possess the ability to portray locations in a stylish manor.
