Welcome to Drinks and Tings from NUM NUM Ventures! We provide classic, stylish cocktail bar services and additional tailored entertainment options (music and magic) for both private individuals and businesses throughout Greater London and the Home Counties.

For your wedding, engagement party, birthday, anniversary, indoor and outdoor private residence events, and other seasonal celebrations, we are with you from day one of planning to your big day itself.

Officially launching in the summer of 2023 and going straight into running the drinks service at a CHANEL London HQ party with 300 invited guests, our Founder, 'Caspian' has 20 years of experience across hospitality, private events, and entertainment. A genuine 'people enthusiast' whose background outside of numerous private events comes from London's West End, East End, and Mayfair, from bars and diners to top lounge cocktail bars, as well as Michelin and 5* venues.

Drinks & Tings is about delivering a new standard in private event drinks service and entertainment. A quality of service associated with top-end venues and also delivered with a friendly, personal touch. We are in the people business, with a bar team that is hand-picked from some of the best cocktail bars in London. Selected for their attention to detail, charisma, reliability, warmth, and presentation so that we can offer you and your guests a real quality service full of class and personality, helping create the atmosphere for everyone to have a really great time together.

DRINKS

We have a very extensive classic cocktail list to choose from, and we work with you to make sure all preferences are met. For your guests who do not drink alcohol for any number of reasons, we also have a tasty non-alcoholic spirit range so everyone can feel part of the experience. In addition to cocktails, we serve a wide range of other drinks: spirits and mixers, wines, champagnes, prosecco, bottled beers, cider, along with many soft drink options. Again, ensuring all guests are properly included and catered for.

We offer the following drink service packages as standard and are also happy to build something tailor-made:

All-inclusive open bar: We take care of absolutely everything drinks related, from the actual physical bar(s) if desired, the wet stock, glassware, ice, all drink-making equipment, service equipment, and staffing, to organising a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) with the local authority, which may be needed for your event. The value for you, in this case, means that you can strike drinks off the list and concentrate on the many other things needing your attention.
Dry Bar Operation: Here, you, as the client, would purchase all of your wet stock, from which our team would make and serve the drinks. We can happily arrange ice and glassware if required. This option will reduce your expenditure but will increase your time investment and potentially your stress levels as you move closer to the day of the main event.
Service-only package: In this case, we bring the necessary drink-making equipment (cocktail shakers, for example) and the staffing levels needed, from a single cocktail bartender to a whole team, depending on the number of guests and your specifications. We then make and serve your drinks from whatever area is allocated for drinks service.
Cash bar option: We are fully licensed to operate a cash and card bar system. This can help reduce your expenditure by sharing it with your guests. With this option, we would require a minimum agreed spend amount based on the number of guests, drinks on offer, and duration of service. We are very happy to make suggestions on how exactly this option has worked best from past experience. Just drop us a line, and we can arrange a time for a call to talk it through with you.


MAGIC

Up close table magic and a show performance from our Magic Circle Member Magicians, a fantastic ice-breaker with guaranteed gasps of laughter. Definitely something to be remembered!

MUSIC

Whether a pianist, string quartet, or troubadour, performing during the arrival of guests and pre-Wedding Breakfast, to full bands for your main party, playing good ol' Rock N' Roll, dance floor classics and modern numbers, or stretching out to perhaps a Latin / Cuban theme, and even a Jazz Band, we have you covered.
