I had Doree Bonner come out twice to pack and put my belongings in storage, then also pack and move out items to another property. I can honestly say this was the more efficient, helpful and stress free service I have experienced. The removers where on time, genuinely helpful and packed all my items with care. Doree Bonner have been excellent. From the quote, to collection and shipping. We found everyone to be friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, open and probably most importantly trustworthy, given some concerns we had about using smaller, less well established, firms. The quote was very close to our final volume, they had a special van to help with collection using our very constrained side road, they knew about the specifics of what needed to be declared when going to Australia and were friendly throughout. My Father,is an older gentleman hard of hearing,I can't explain how amazing the team of guys were that backed up his home with care & respect. Moved home from London to Hampshire a matter of days ago. The team Doree Bonner sent were excellent. We paid for packing and materials, and they were super quick with wrapping all our contents, and taking care of delicate/fragile items, specifically packing these with more care than I would expect a removal company to use. Some items were bulky and heavy yet they found ways to remove with care, and pack/wrap appropriately. They really were exceptional workers. Our furniture was packed, held in storage for over 2 years, and returned to our house a couple of weeks ago by Doree Bonner. All staff we had dealings with were polite, professional and extremely helpful. From Andy and Pat in the office, who rescheduled the return of our furniture without any fuss, due to building works over running, to the Team who returned our furniture (Jim, Maxi and Tam), who in particular were fantastic. Prior to returning the furniture to the house, our flooring and carpets were fully protected. They were very careful and nothing was too much bother. Tam was a whizz at reassembling furniture, and they managed to get large items of furniture into places that I thought were virtually inaccessible. One small ornament was broken, and an item of furniture had come apart. The cost of the ornament was reimbursed without quibble and the item of furniture was fixed on the same day by Jim. To my mind the measure of a Company is how they deal with issues, and the Doree Bonner Team dealt with them quickly and efficiently. No fuss. Would recommend and use again. More...

A professional service, with professional workers. I exspected stress and lots of time to be consumed with moving my house. But that was not the case, both the removers turned up bang on time. Both of them were punctual and polite, and within no time at all the house was packed away in a very well presented truck. Moving in day both the movers beat us to my new house and were ready to go before I had even opened the door. With everything unpacked and put in place both the movers asked if there was anything else they could do, as if moving my whole house wasn’t enough. Moved from Australia to Edinburgh and had to have goods in storage for 7 months. The service I received from the Edinburgh branch of Doree Bonner was exemplary, the manager a true professional in all his dealings with me and extremely helpful. I had to remove some items form the container and this was facilitated with ease - one of the employees was there to assist, helped me move things out of the container, made sure I got it into my car safely. Nothing was a problem. Removal of goods to new home was easy simple and straightforward - the team arrived when they said they would giving me the 60 minute warning. Third time I've used Doree Bonner & again this company did not disappoint! Everyone for Claire in the initial meeting to communication with Andy & Steven has been clear & concise. I opted for the full packing & moving service & I'm do glad I did, the boys were with us from Tuesday through to the Saturday, packing, loading, moving, taking apart beds & furniture then reassembling them in the new house! Note that I'm reviewing after my things have been picked up, but I haven't had them arrive yet (international move). I chose Doree due to their great reviews online and the fact that of all the companies I approached, they were cheapest and actually engaged with my less than simple destination plans, unlike other companies. They also offered free storage for a few weeks, and didn't spam me with calls and emails.I requested a home visit - the agent that visited was on time, really comprehensive, and took the time to answer all of my questions. After his visit, although my quoted volume decreased by about 15%, the price significantly increased. I don't feel like I really got a clear answer for why this was, which was very frustrating, but Doree were willing to match the price of the next cheapest company in the end. At this point, there was also an admin fee, which I was previously unaware of.In terms of the actual collection, the communication in advance was great (especially when I phoned with questions). The movers hadn't been told the time they were due to arrive, however, but they were happy to wait until I arrived home.The movers were super efficient and helpful - in and out in 90 mins, leaving everything spotless. I really can't fault them at all.Afterwards, I asked about the volume, and was told that it was slightly under the quoted amount so I wouldn't get any amount refunded. However, when I asked for the actual volume, Doree double checked and it turned out that I was due a refund.Overall, I've been happy with the service so far - the actual movers were brilliant and the customer service has been good too. Hi,the team were great, they even helped push my car which had a flat battery !We had a lot of stuff and they had to get help from another team to unload because of running late. Piano , 3 sofas & 3 double beds, 2 dining tables & sets of chairs, 5 large chest of drawers, a bureau & wall bookcases. 90 large boxes worth of stuff ( from 2 large sheds as well ) They were all finished by about 6.30 & they got a big tip as I felt they had worked on after there finish time & it would pay for a fish supper & a few beers. They didn't complain at all about it being late.One bad thing.Got no follow up call to take away the cardboard boxes within 10 days, which we had paid for.Had to take them to the dump ourselves and there was about 90 boxes folded flat. If I'd hassled them......... they may have come out & collected them Was just expecting them to follow up within the 10 days. That's why not the full 5 stars. More...

Our experience with Doree Bonner was excellent. In December 2018/January 2019 the company moved us from Edinburgh to Barcelona. The consultation process with Colin Chalmers at the beginning was very thorough. The packing and removal service was efficient and very professional. Moving during the Christmas break did mean we had to wait a little longer to receive our items in Barcelona, which caused a little anxiety. But the branch Manager Steven McGregor kept us informed at every stage. The delivery itself was carried out by Doree Bonner's partners, Mathew James. The team did an excellent job bringing our items and large pieces of furniture up three tight flights of stairs to our top floor flat, without complaint or hesitation. Doree Bonner were brilliant! They were amazing when we had to postpone at the last minute and rebook. They did their best to get us another date asap despite it being close to Christmas.
