Dogs ‘n’ Dales is a dog walking service based in Ripon, offering our services locally and to the surrounding areas of Harrogate, Knaresborough and others. I have well over thirty years dog handling experience, and was a police officer in the Metropolitan Police Service for 10 years.

Lola has just spent another week with Lynne and her lovely family, and was totally happy and content and even overcame her fear of water! Wouldn’t leave our little Lola anywhere else!!!home from home! At only 15 weeks old Lynne and her lovely family cared for Lola like she was their own. Lynne sent photos and videos everyday which stopped any anxieties. She has learnt social skills and appears to of thoroughly enjoyed her own holiday. She is already booked in for her next one. I was walking my two Shih Tzu's today at Jacobs Park and saw the most wonderful sight...there were 8 dogs of all sizes and breeds all running and playing together beautifully. I couldn't wait for my own dogs to be introduced to them all, so we sped up to catch them, and my dogs also had a lovely time. I would definitely use Dogs n Dales if I needed that service. Leo stayed here while we went to Australia. I looked at kennels and didn’t think Leo would like it as he’s such a pampered pooch.
I found lynne at dogs and kennels.
We met up a few times for Leo to go for walks etc before we go to see how he got on, he loved it bless him. I was no worried at all as I knew she would take care of him. I highly recommend her he won’t be going anywhere else when we go away now �

My dogs stayed for 9 days with Lynn and I almost felt cruel when I collected them becuaae they were so happy and settled and had had lots of love , attention and exercise! I wouldn’t hesitate to use Lynn again, she is brilliant with the dogs, gets to know their personalities and looks after them accordingly. I knew Lynne from years ago when our children were cute. She has since come back into my life to my dog's rescue. With a knee injury I am unable to take my 6yr old lab x border collie on her long walks. My dog hates leaving me but comes back a very happy tired dog. Lynne has coped well with her sheer bloody mindedness. When home boarding, ignoring the no pets upstairs rule, she chewed her way through the stair gate to be closer to Lynne. Daisy 'Home Boarded' with Lynn and family and all I can say is WOW. It broke our heart leaving our pup whilst we went on holiday, never did I imagine it would break our heart picking her up knowing she has had the absolute best time ever! The first time I have used home boarding for my staffy Lola, and There is definitely no going back now. I can’t thank Lynne and her family enough for the way they looked after Lola. I have known Lynne for a number of years, after bumping into her whilst exercising our respective dogs. Lynne is extremely animal orientated and its very clear how much she loves not just her dogs but all the other animals in her care.
Lynne has looked after my elderly labrador and most recently my 2 working cocker spaniels, she has provided dog walking and kennelling for them, well not kennelling as per the norm, more 5* unlimited attention kennelling which is far more than they would get at home, i think given the choice they would rather live there!
If you are in need of a dog walker Lynne is most definately the person you need, your dog will not only be well walked but well socialised and looked after.

Lynne has my 5 month old cocker spaniel 3 days a week, and he is loving every minute of her time, we both work so don’t get the time in the week during the day to get him out to have the excersise he needs!
The difference an hour with Lynne makes is unreal, he is flat out when we come home! Has a good sleep then wakes much calmer. We also booked Lynne for the social aspect of it, which is always great for new pups, our last dog never had any of this so was very nervous of others.
Lynne is dog/animal mad, and we trust her with our baby � % she is amazing with him, and he loves being with her!
Would highly recommend Dogs n Dales to anyone looking at having their dog walked or looked after, she’s very reasonably priced, and worth every penny! I’m sure her new business will be a great success, and I’m only too happy to help her on her way x

What do you love most about your job?
Dogs ‘N’ Dales is more than just a job. All the dogs are treated as my own and I work with their families to make sure their needs are met. I offer socialisation, stimulation and exercise. The dogs feel safe, secure and loved. We have fun.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I love being out doors with our dogs and horse. I run and walk. I decided life is to short. I wanted to do something that I am passionate about. So I did. I set up Dogs ‘N’ Dales. I love it. Each dog I take out becomes a member of my family.
Why should our clients choose you?
I work closely with the dogs and their families to meet their dogs needs. For the more energetic dog I run each day. We go to different places so the dogs have new exciting experiences. I completely Facebook daily so people can see exactly what we have been up, mapping our routes and taking lots of photos.
