Martin from DoggyTopia has been walking Cassie since she was 6 months old and I'm sure she has enjoyed every minute (in fact she doesn't want to leave the van at the end). As for us DoggyTopia have been excellent and I would highly recommend them, Martin appreciates the needs of the individual dog and goes that extra mile to make sure they are happy. Nowadays it's rare to find people who are totally committed to their job with a passion - then there's Martin whose obvious love of dogs shines through . My mum's dog Scrappy clearly reciprocates the affection & is thoroughly enjoying his walks & contact with Martin . To the extent that ' we are redundant !'. Only Martin & doggy pals make the grade. Martin has become an instant hit with my two schnauzers and I get the idea the feeling is mutual. I was completely reassured by Martin from our first meeting, so much experience and professional attitude, and clearly an equal amount of love for our fur babies! Knowing Martin is fully trained in first aid and has oodles of common sense and experience in emergency situations gives me a much needed sense of security and trust. What do you love most about your job?
What's not to love about being outside and working with dogs? I never get bored of seeing their eyes light up when they know they're going out for a fun walk with us. I enjoy meeting new clients and providing the best possible service for their dog(s).
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having worked in the Fire & Rescue Service for 9 years, specialising in animal rescue, I realised it was time to work for myself and do something I really love. I've always been around dogs and enjoy being outside, so it was an easy decision to start DoggyTopia.
