Having seen 2 other dog trainers, where they only trained my dog on what they wanted and not what I needed, I was so lucky to find Caz. I struggle to walk my German Shepherd, Clyde, as he constantly pulled. After just 1 hour session with Clyde she totally changed how I walked him and my loose lead walking is now so enjoyable. Wow a week ago I was at my wits end with my fur baby I had done what most of us do and spoilt her an over time I lost all control over her, she was as they say ruling the roost. One hour training session that both myself and enjoyed I really started to understand my dogs needs and how she wanted to learn new things. We met with Caz a few months back for a few sessions with our beagle, after a few sessions and some hard work we really noticed a difference and still progressing! We had our first session with Caz a few weeks back. We visited Caz with our 2 year old labrador cross who made us look quite silly as everything Caz asked him to do,he did with no hesitation. She literally is the dog whisperer! Caz made us realise though that it was us that needed training more than our dog! We noticed a huge difference in his behaviour after just our initial hour session with Caz. We have been consistent with the key words and training tips Caz gave us and we have a different dog! A few months ago we had our first session with Caz and what a journey we have been on since that day. Chester was reactive to absolutely everything from Passerby’s, Joggers, Cyclists etc and he was not able to restrain his excitement - standing on his back legs screeching - we were at our wits end. Caz immediately took control and started to show us how to work with Chester in a way which is definitely working. Caz is always to the point (with a lovely sense of humour) but with a strong willed dog like Chester we have taken on board all her advice and help and are able to now do things that before were virtually impossible. I came to Caz after trying a few trainers with no luck. After our first session I could see a massive change milo after I’d be shown how to take charge and have confidence in myself when handling milo. We’d never have visitors to the house due to it being to stressful with milo jumping all over people, milo now waits in his crate when the door goes and until being allowed to greet our visitors. We’re now looking at his walking and me being in charge of the walks rather then allowing milo to drag me down the street. I’ve switched milos food, got rid of his bowl and he is now hand fed and I feel my relationship with him is improving massively. Honestly cannot recommend Caz enough! Who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks and it is all down to the help and advise from her! My 18month old springer Molly has always been nervous and reactive around strangers and dogs. Never would have thought I would see her being able to interact with them, but just two sessions in and I can see the massive change in her and not only am I happier, so is she! I had a training session with Caz a week ago. My issues were my male dog barks at other dogs bigger than him, and recall for both my dogs is crap. I have always walked them using a halti to stop pulling. Started the session using a slip lead and practicing loose lead walking. Both actually responded to this well, i have been using a slip lead to carry on the training at home and its working! I haven't needed the halti at all. And weirdly their behaviour off lead has become a lot better, listening to me alot more and waiting for instruction. Caz really knows her stuff and im so glad i came across her first when looking for a trainer! Highly recommend. caz came to see me regarding my 24 week old pup, who was destroying my house and basically just wild and out of control, it wasn't the dog it was me who needed guidance and caz sorted it with 1 hour training for me and my dog, I'd recommend her above all other training places like dogs trust etc as they have no comparison, she works real magic.....

I would highly recommend Caz as a trainer. After spending hundreds of pounds on positive only trainers and not getting anywhere or any results I was pulling my hair out with my dogs, both been rescues I think I felt sorry for them and treated them like babies rather than dogs. after meeting and speaking with caz a lot of unwanted behaviours my dogs were displaying was actually down to me and not the dogs now with clear boundaries and teaching the dogs with different tools and environments of how to behave and what's acceptable and what's not walks are so much more enjoyable and manageable. still a long way to go but thank you can for your time and patience. Caz was recommended to me by friend and despite a 4 hour round trip, it is well worth visiting for our training sessions. Caz is honest and straight talking, no excuses . She trains you, so you can teach your dog what you want them to do. I have two rescue Great Danes that I was spoiling due to their past life’s which led to a few issues. Caz helped us with a few small problems that we had with our English Bulldog puppy Alf. Although they were small they would have quickly become bigger problems and caused us unnecessary stress (that includes Alf! ) Well what can I say.....Caz was brilliant and in a very short time explain so much in a way that was easy to understand and showed us our mistakes which were in turn affecting Alf. I found dogaholics by sheer fluke and I am so glad I did. I have had 1-1 with all 3 of.my dogs in one equation or another and Caz has offered professional and emotional support and advice when I have needed it. I took my 9 month old puppy Bear to his first training session earlier and it’s the best thing I’ve done ! What do you love most about your job?
That every dog is different and unique. We aim in training and educating owners giving them the techniques & tools to help achieved the best possible results to have a happy healthy dog. We focusing on teaching leadership by implenting rules & boundaries using clear communication in a way which your dog understands.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Let me introduce myself... I'm Caz, originally from the North East, but now located in Huthwaite Nottingham.
Having served 13 years in the Armed Foces as a dog trainer after I continued to work and train search dogs, whilst also receiving more and more requests to help owners with their dogs. This is when I decided to set up Dogaholics, in order to help people on a full time basis, although I still continue with my search work during my days off.
I have five dogs Milo & Rooster my ex working search dogs who now are my stooge dogs who help me with my cilents. We have Doris the rottweiler is who is now 9 years old and then Magde the Jack Rusell who's 4 and my new addition Frankie the Frenchie who's now 10 months. I am mad passionate about dogs and pride myself on helping owners to build strong, lasting relationships with their dogs.
Every dog is unique, therefore my methods includes using different tools and approaches to training which is tailored to the dog and the owner. It is important to me to help owners to enjoy living with their dog and giving them the tools and techniques to do so.

Why should our clients choose you?
Whichever trainer you decide to choose please consider the following.
*Check out the trainers before and after vidoes , it's super easy these days to take videos and all descent trainers will uploads videos as evidence of there work.
* Check out there own personal dog , every trainer should have a dog trained to a high level and most trainers use there dogs to help cilents.
*Cheap trainers aren't good and in the long run may end up costing you alot more if given the wrong advice.
*Trainers that don't get hands on with your dog then ask for your money back , any decent dog trainer should be able to handle your dog confidently.
*If the first thing a trainer says is to medicate your dog then change trainer.
*Good trainers have waiting lists be patience.
