What do you love most about your job?
Dogs are fascinating complex creatures. Their perception and intelligence never fails to impress me, as does their unique ability to fit into our hectic complex modern life style. Every dog needs a different approach, and I love the challenge of how to read and understand why each dog reacts the way they do.
I enjoy being able to help and improve the communication between dog and owner/handler using positive reinforcement, and seeing how ready dogs are to work with you once they understand.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always found the behaviours of dogs fascinating, and have worked closely with dogs all my life. However I realised my knowledge of how dogs manage to live and work so closely with humans, but sometimes struggle to adapt and function in this chaotic modern world was limited. So I enrolled to study with the Institute of Modern Dog trainers (IMDT) to learn and understand about the mechanics of how dogs actually learn and function.

Training using kind, reward based positive methods works so effectively and with outstanding results. My approach to all training is to give you the handler all the tools needed to create the best working relationship between you and your dog. A relaxed and happy dog will be attentive and will learn.
When working with a client on behavioural modification my approach is very thorough. I can give you help and protocols to manage and improve the behaviours, that are simple and achievable. I offer ongoing support with sensible practical advice.
