What do you love most about your job?
Arboriculture has TREE- MENDUS job satisfaction.
The 50/50 of hard physical work along with tree biology and physics is very rewarding.
Each job is never the same, it also helps when you are an outdoors person.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After school I went to study trees and tree climbing after which I start work as a junior arborist with Epsom and Ewell Council.
After a few years with the council, I became a self employed, freelance climber, working for a number of smaller firms.
This is where I fine tuned my climbing skills.
Within I a few years of being a sub contractor i had started to bring in a small amount of my own work, which kept growing and growing to the point I bought my first truck and chipper and went out alone.
