We hired Nick for our wedding reception at Patterns in Brighton. Nick was really quick to respond to our enquiry and was reasonably priced for the brilliant service he offers.
Nick arranged a call to find out exactly what we wanted and was really flexible and encouraging in allowing us to decide a lot of the playlist. He made suggestions for songs to play right after our first dance so it seamlessly transitioned into “the party” .
Everyone commented on how great he was and he gauged the energy in the room perfectly. He also intro’d our speech & let everyone know when the final few songs were being played (and even played an encore when everyone’s was shouting for “one more song” :-) )
Thanks Nick for making our reception a night we’ll never forget.

The chance to share musical moments with others while also making a living.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have been a DJ for over 15 years on both community radio, where I previously presented a weekly show promoting independent music from around the world, and live, providing music for clients ranging from corporate functions to weddings.
Initially, I set out by organising club nights which varied from Soul Weekenders to specialist events. As time has progressed, I have worked for a number of established agencies like En Masse Productions, regularly playing at Madame Tussauds, the London Dungeons and the London Aquarium as well as a number of Thames party cruises. I have also performed at a few festivals over the years.
For all of these events, I put together DJ sets from across the eras and genres, covering all tastes and always with the client at the heart of the selections.
When not DJing out, I host a website called The Alternative 9 Music Review which continues to promote and review independent music spanning Soul, World and Jazz to Electronica, House, Techno, Reggae and Experimental music. I also regularly produce mixes on Mixcloud, which can be found on www.mixcloud.com/emancipatio.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I have a screen around the equipment where partygoers can communicate while keeping their distance.
