Darryl is the man! I recently was in London from NYC for the Libertines concert in Brixton and upon seeing the show I went looking to get a tattoo the next day. By fate, I found Diamond Jacks and met Darryl. Darryl was phenomenal. This was my very first tattoo and it couldn't have been with a better artist. Darryl really listened to what I was trying to do with my tattoo and then absolutely nailed it. Darryl is also just a really cool dude with some amazing stories about Tattoos, bands, SoHo, London, etc. He also has some great blues music that he puts on during the procedure. The result actually came out better then expected. If i ever get a tattoo again in London, there's only one person I would even consider and that's Darryl at Diamond Jacks. Get in! More...

I knew I wanted my first tattoo and having walked past this place for decades, there was only one place I wanted to do it! Really friendly welcome, highly professional and gave great advice. They understand that every tattoo is personal, however if they do not think it will work, they let you know and give alternative suggestions. Cracking place for tats. Really friendly vibe, the artists are fantastic and honest. If you're after somewhere cheap then go elsewhere, but if you're after somewhere great then look no further. I went for my first, with a friend who went for an addition to many, and both agreed that we couldn't have asked for anything better. The old adage is true that you get what you pay for, and from the quality of tattoo to the ambience to the artists themselves, you couldn't ask for better. Went and got my 3rd tattoo while I was in London and found this shop. The shop itself is tucked into an alley that was currently under construction, so it was a little difficult to find. Darryl was happy to take my questions and helped me tweak my design, a simple crescent moon on my ribs, to my liking. He also made the process extremely easy and was very fun to talk to. He gave me a few pointers to what to look for in other tattoo artists. Great guy. Cannot recommend this place more highly. 10/10. Would be a great place to get your first tattoo or 50th. More...

We had a great experience at diamond jacks and managed to get an appointment last minute . All staff were friendly, there was lots of banter and we all laughed lots. Came here for my second tattoo and it was such a great experience, Darryl was so friendly and gentle I barely felt a thing! They only do walk-ins on weekends which was awesome for me as I was able to get mine done on the spot on a Saturday afternoon whilst other places I had visited in the area were booked out for hours if not days, I almost thought I wasn't going to be able to get it at all before leaving London.
