My dog Oscar was anxious but Phil was so gentle with him and soon put him at ease. Phil checked how I wanted Oscar to be groomed and how long or short I wanted his fur. Oscar came out looking exactly as I wanted. He had a lovely smell from the products used and this has lasted for a few weeks now. Phil is very friendly and polite and listens to what the customer wants and really cares about the dogs. We are looking forward to the next visit. More...

Fantastic service, have had a lot of issues getting my Schnauzer groomed as she has a lot of anxiety and defensive behaviour issues. Sophie and John have just washed and trimmed my 3 year old Golden Retriever Max who had never had this done before. Got in touch with Dial a dog wash from Chester, they were really nice and helpful, arranged to call between 4 and 5 on a Friday, they were very prompt. The lady's name was Diane, she was lovely and friendly which I find very important. She really spoilt Hector the cocker spaniel, there was a lot of work to be done on him as his fur was really thick and matted in places.As I have said she was great him, he had the works, and he looks lovely. John came and done a wonderful job cleaning our bulldog Spud. Such a friendly man, and very caring. He knew exactly how to treat our dog who has sensitive skin, and also offered some good advice on how to soothe a problem with the skin on his paws. Our spud looked and smelled lovely and clean! This was my dogs first time with Dial a Dog Wash.... Levi is a big dog and I usually "wash" him in the garden so he was a little unsure. Thankfully Phil was amazing and very patient & reassuring as it took us all our time to get him in the bath but once in he soon settled doen. Levi was smelling gorgeous by the time Phil finished and still is two weeks later, his fur is still soft n shiny. I would highly recommend Phil. Suki is my beloved 12 year old shih tzu and was diagnosed with a growth on her heart just before John and Kim took over dial a dog wash. She is very nervous and shakes at the thought of being groomed. John and Kim groomed her together with Suki sat on Kim's knee to calm her. They are so attentive to make sure Suki does not stress and work herself up. 12 month on and Suki still with us and beautifully and stress free groomed.Thank you John and Kim.
