About

Hello. My name is Nick McAleer and I am a registered dietitian with 12 years of experience in the NHS. Having worked in a wide range of clinical areas including gastroenterolgy and specialising in renal dietetics I am able to offer a wide range of dietary support and education.

Good nutrition should be part of everyday life. As Dietitians, we believe people have the right to access high quality information relating to their individual needs, and play an active role in achieving a healthy, balanced diet.

Everyone knows a bit about nutrition but there is so much conflicting information that sometimes you need a resource which guarantees a professional, expert answer to your nutritional questions – this is where Devon Dietitians can help. Whether trying to cut out ‘bad’ foods or following a specific diet, such as gluten free or cholesterol lowering, we aim to provide evidence-based advice which is easy to implement and sustain.

The advice you receive will be individually tailored to your needs and include clear goals to help you achieve the outcome you want. You will receive an honest and detailed review of your current diet and be treated with dignity and respect throughout. All consultations will be conducted in a private and confidential manner.
