Me and my wife hired Leisa and her amazing catering team Devon catering for our wedding at Pynes House in Exeter 3 weeks ago. Firstly we found Leisa very friendly and helpful with the menu choices and very easy to contact to resolve any last minute tweaking leading up to the big day. For the actual day itself before I’d realised they had arrived it had all been set up and the staff were ready to serve looking very smart for the occasion. The canapés looked and tasted better than I could have imagined and had more than enough for our guests. The 3 courses were equally as amazing and couldn’t find a empty plate in the room, and also catered to each of our guests food requirements as we had a celiac and vegetarian, which was no problem and solved easily by Leisa and her professional team. Leisa catered for our wedding at Westcott Barton a few weeks ago. She was extremely helpful in the months leading up to the wedding - answering our (many) questions really quickly and helpfully. Thank you so much Leisa and everyone at Devon Catering for giving us such a wonderful service and food at our wedding reception. We had great communication prior to our wedding about the food, logistics and they didn't charge corkage! The food was amazing and beautifully presented - all the staff were lovely and everything went really smoothly. Sam and I had our wedding on the First of July this year, in the run up to the day we had no worries about catering as Leisa kept us up to date on what was what, and after our tasting session we were looking forward getting the full experience.
On arrival at our reception venue, the catering staff met us with warm smiles and cold champagne, accompanied by the most delicious canapés that far exceeded our expectations.
We had sharing platters to start, which helped break the ice for the guests that didn't know each other, served very efficiently which left no-one waiting hungry.
Everyone was delighted with the mains, which were wonderfully presented and flavoursome. The deserts were my favourite, each one beautifully displayed, and they tasted amazing, all of our guests mentioned how delighted they were with them (and all of the food!).
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our day, very professional, we would definitely recommend Devon Catering to anyone planning an event or wedding. More...

We had our wedding a couple of weeks ago and what can I say... the food was amazing... beautifully presented and tasted fab! !! The canapés that went round whilst people had their welcome drinks were amazing and the main and desserts we choose for our wedding breakfast were delicious!!! We had so many compliments from all of our guests about how good the food was and Leisa and her team were lovely, they could not do enough for us... we as the bride and groom were bought a lovely platter with a selection of all the canapés as we were off having photos taken... the whole team were very friendly and professional, would definitely recommend using devon catering. Thank you so much Leisa and the team at Devon Catering for the fantastic food and service at our wedding at Woolhanger last week! We live in Essex but decided to marry on Exmoor, a place dear to us both, and Leisa was able to take any stresses out of long distance planning by welcoming us for a tasting session, sharing her knowledge and experience of the venue and local suppliers, and being an all round star on the day. We had wonderful canapés (thank you to the member of the team who sought us out whilst we were having photos!), a sit down three course meal, and pulled pork in the evening, all of which had great feedback from our guests. And Leisa also made the scones for our cream tea 'wedding cake', also delicious. The speed and efficiency of the team was just excellent, having to work also with the challenges of an outside kitchen. We had the most brilliant day and can't thank everyone involved enough! Where to start?
Devon Catering catered for our wedding on 05.05.18 and they were just incredible. From the moment we met Leisa she was friendly, accommodating, and amenable. She has been professional but so personable throughout. And what has been SO lovely is that she has been quick to reply to emails/queries; it makes the wedding planning that much easier!

The food at the tasters and on the day was just delicious and perfectly presented. We had a continuous stream of compliments on the food throughout the day and ever since!
We have found Devon Catering to be very reasonably priced (after lots of looking and tasting) and having experienced their food and service, it makes parting with your money so much easier!!

(We had canopes for the guests and then a 3 course sit down meal. Choice of fish cakes with a chilli dip or a caramelised red onion, stilton and tomato tart to start,
Choice of chicken wrapped in bacon filled with caramelised red onion and brie, or cod or brie, cranberry and leek filo parcel for the main.
Choice of lemon and blueberry cheesecake or dark chocolate and orange brownie for dessert.)

Leisa's staff were also fantastic- friendly, genuine, organised, professional and well presented.
I'm just absolutely gutted I didn't have time to eat any of the evening pasties or pies which went down an absolute storm!!

We didn't have to worry about a thing with Devon Catering and we would highly recommend them. We just want to do it all again!
