Having contacted many Energy / Charging Point companies directly (Zappi, Ohme, PodPoint, British Gas and Octopus etc) I was at the end of my tether with filling in forms, taking photographs around the house and drawing diagrams. With two of these companies, I couldn’t even get to the point of getting a quote as they insisted that I need to provide a photo of our ‘Gas Bonding’ (despite the fact we don’t have gas) or I needed to know whether we had single, twin or some other type of electricity (I still don’t know what this means?). In contrast, Aaron from DEV Installations took care of everything. He arrived on time (in an electric van) to provide a completely free no obligation quote. We received the quote the same day and the price was comparative to the big companies (cheaper in some cases) and DEV Installations were able to discuss various possible dates and book one with no cash required upfront - where all of the ‘big’ companies required payment in full, upfront, before they would ‘get back to you’ about installation dates. We even had a choice of multiple Charging Points and were able to discuss the pros and cons of each before deciding. Aaron arrived on time, had remembered everything we discussed during his quotation visit and the quality of his work was outstanding. Cables were hidden where possible and despite having drilled through walls etc, we had no tidying up to do what-so-ever. After the installation was completed, he stayed to ensure our first charge started successfully, helping us set up the app and understand how to turn the power off just in case there was ever a problem. Aaron answered all of our questions and we couldn’t have been happier with the process from start to finish, including our new Ohme charger which is much smaller and far more discreet than we thought - highly recommended.
