What’s your interior design process?
Firstly we have an initial discussion with yourselves to establish and understand the scope, requirements and aspirations for the project.
We then produce a proposal document to confirm the brief and scope of services needed along with fee costs for the various stages. So its all transparent and clear. The stages vary but would often include:
Initial Space Planning, Layouts, and development of layouts
Scheme Design , Colours, Finishes , Visuals
Cost plan
Detail design, construction drawings.
Contract Supervision and cost control
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
At design at Work we recognize all clients are different and therefor we create a style for that particular client's needs and requirements.
What do you love most about your job?
I love meeting new people and interpreting often quite complex requirements into a real physical space
and providing our clients with something far better than they ever could have imagined.
What inspired you to start your own business?
A passion for design and solving problems, along with the birth of my daughter, and I thought if I don't do it now it might never happen.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are creative, realistic, highly experienced and very approachable.
I see my role as looking after my client's interests during the sometimes complex, design and purchasing process.
There is no mystery to design it is a logical sequence of events in which the client takes an active part..... oh and there's a bit of design magic thrown into the mix
