Denise's Little Cake Company

I asked Denise to make a birthday cake for my husband featuring his veg plot, I sent her a photo and told her what he was growing the result was fabulous the sides were hand painted with poppies and the top covered in individual vegetables the same as the layout of the garden , it not only looked fantastic but the lemon sponge underneath was delightful and stayed fresh for days, I would certainly use Denise's expertise and skill again and would recommend her highly she certainly is a good find. I wanted a special cake for my partner as it was a difficult Birthday for him, and I wanted it to be something he could remember. Other cake companies were just asking me what I wanted and the service wasn't good, so I contacted Denise and she straight away asked about who the cake was for, and what I had in mind. Then she gave me some ideas she had for the design and I knew I'd found the right person for the job! She genuinely cared about it as much as I did. She got back to me immediately and accommodated everything I wanted, and exceeded all expectations and possibilities! Denise did an amazing job with my order of 2 cakes at the same time for my better half and her brother in law. She made an amazing Harry Potter cake which everyone was speechless with and the Croc cake for the bro was perfect made everyone laugh which is what I was aiming for! Everyone loved the flavour and moistness of the cakes! I was eating the Harry Potter one for days after and was perfect from first to last bite! We asked Denise to make a naked cakefor our Daughters wedding on the 28th October and found she had never done one before.
I have to say naked cakes look awsome however have a tendency to tilt after a couple of hours (not her fault).

Denise provided a wonderful service from start to finish and the cake itself was absolutely fantastic. From the initial meeting she knew exactly what we wanted and every step of the way we could tell the service she provided was personal to us. Any time she had an idea to make it better or a question about part of the design she would be in contact to ask for our opinion. Of course this is standard but she need not have as her thoughts were exactly the same as ours. The cake was exactly as we imagined it would be and more and all three flavours were just lovely. Many of our guests have commented on how much they enjoyed the cake, both the taste and design. Denise also took the time to make additional cupcakes, in a similar design, for our guests who had food allergies. I would certainly recommend Denise for a wedding cake or for any other occasion! Denise made our wedding cake, it was a four tier (all different flavours) lord of the rings style cake complete with edible dragon and gold coins, Denise accepted the challenge that some others wouldn’t and it turned out amazingly, it looked incredible, tasted delicious and was the talking point of our wedding.

I ordered a cake for my partners 50th birthday and words cannot describe how amazing this cake was.
The chocolate and salted caramel sponge was light and fluffy.
The scene I wanted was of Teignmouth beach with our 3 Labrador dogs. Denise done a wonderful scene with one dog in the water with a seagull floating beside her. And the other 2 on the beach playing.
I cannot recommend Denise enough!! Her talent for detail and the taste of the cake was out of this world!!

My daughter won a prize from you earlier in the year thank you, she decided to use it as a present for my twin granddaughters first birthday. The cake looked amazing so artistic with the decoration it really was stunning!
