The whole process was extremely efficient & professional. It was lovely to speak to Kerry & Tom on our initial call then to have Kerry contactable on WhatsApp was just great. The designs they produced were very detailed & I really liked seeing the finished room in the 3D vision as this really helped to visually see what it would look like. Kerry at Decorelm was excellent. She listened to what we needed from the space we needed help with, which was a play room. We wanted a practical but fun design and she delivered. Excellent service! I hired Kerry from Decorelm because I moved into a new build and has no idea where to start. The process was really easy and Kerry communicated well throughout. I had to prioritise certain rooms as there were parts like no flooring etc and this was not a problem. I had a tricky space to work with and she managed to tick all the things I wanted for my room.
She was open to my ideas without taking criticism and took everything I said on board, I am very impressed.

What’s your interior design process?
I first begin by getting to know the client, their tastes, the end goal of the project and what a dream room would look like to them. This is crucial for the success of the project, as it enables me to create a truly unique design for the client based on their personality and interests. All my designs also take into account the functional requirements of the room too.
I then create initial mood boards and inspiration boards, sending them to the client early to hear your thoughts. This identifies style preferences early on and also anything that needs a little more work. Involving the client is critical for the project to be successful.
Next, I present the client with 2D and 3D visualisations of the space, along with a floor plan to help understand the design. The 3D render of the design allows my clients to see their room in action and get a better understanding of furniture spacing. This usually takes the breath away from the client as they see their room transformed in the render.
I also provide a write-up to explain the process behind the design. At this stage, the client may be happy with the design and I would present the shopping list with all the items to purchase for the design.
Once the client is happy and proud about their design/new room, we then finalise the project and I can make myself a cup of tea to celebrate.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
My experience with clients around the globe has led me to complete many different designs, where I can take elements of design from different cultures around the world and incorporate into my designs. However, my favourite designs are Scandi, Boho, Coastal, Minimalist and Modern.
What do you love most about your job?
What gets me out of bed every morning as an Interior Designer is Decorelm's mission to make that proud feeling about your home accessible for everyone. Interior Design has long been deemed as only for wealthy, so by making it more accessible for everyone really sparks joy inside me, as I believe that there is no greater feeling than feeling that sense of peace and pride about your home.
What inspired you to start your own business?
That sense of peace and pride about your home provides a foundation for a better life, so by starting Decorelm I want to make this feeling more accessible for everyone.
Why should our clients choose you?
If clients believe in our mission of making Interior Design more accessible, and want to truly feel that sense of pride about their home, then Decorelm is the place to do this. My love for travel has allowed me to combine my British Design with styles from around the world, creating truly breathtaking spaces for dozens of clients.

Decorelm is purely online based. This supports our mission of making interior design more accessible, as it drives downs costs and allows us to collaborate with more people around the globe!
This is done by communicating via email or phone, and all work is presented online in a simple, clear manner.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Covid-19 has had an impact on everyone, and safety is the number one priority during these times. Decorelm always has and is continuing to be remote. This way we can bond with our clients whilst maintaining safety for all!
