Q&As

I love the collaborative aspects of bouncing ideas with the people I work with and seeing ideas become real.

I've worked for myself for many years between years at production companies. Family is important and having my own business allows me both to do what I love and make time for my loved ones.

Most of my business is repeat business. I think people genuinely like working with me - they can see I'm passionate about making something that's good and that it's not just a transaction. I am called upon as someone who has is very good problem solving but which is backed up by hands on and technical experience. I'm also hardworking, honest about any hurdles and keen to make communication flow easily. Whilst I've been professional for 12 years I've been making films, videos and animation for the better part of 12 years. I love my work, and I think it shows in everything I create.

I've been carrying out remote work years before the pandemic and it's always worked well with clients. For projects that require a review service, I can send links videos where comments will be added automatically in my editing software. I've my own production facilities and have computing power for most editing, animation and VFX needs.

Remote working has continued. All guidance followed on set when its been safe to go and film, testing when required. Masks for inside. I'm fully vacinated.

Services

I've made countless music videos across a wide range of genres. I love hearing new music and collaborating with artists to find the best ideas for their video. I think my passion and love for making music videos comes across in my work and is why there's so many bands and artists I've worked with time and time again.

An ident is an animated logo. Whilst these used to be jut something you'd see at the cinema, now it's seen as an essential for any form of branding. I've made idents for years for production companies, businesses and brands. Idents should perfectly carry the tone and quality people should expect when they think of your brand. I've been able to produce creative and cutting edge idents for years now and would love to turn your logo into a eye catching ident.

I feel coming with an animation and directing background I can add a lot more to corporate productions with a bit of care and love than the very dry talking heads videos that often pass for a corporate video. What's the most engaging thing about your story? What can we show that explains your message visually in addition to any key sound-bites? I'm part of a new generation of filmmakers that understand what it takes to catch and hold an audiences attention.

I've edited most of the projects I've ever worked on and have worked editing everything from feature films, commercials, corporate videos, sports, documentaries. I've been professional for 12 years and have used Premiere, FCP and Avid. Currently Premiere is my most requested system as it intergrates well with my motion graphics work in After Effects.

Do you need titles for your video production? Do you need an infographic? An ident? I can help.

I've work for some very big brands doing motion graphics and I'm looked upon by other production companies as someone with a highly level of technical ablity. Equally a bit of skill to create something on a budget for a startup may be all they need to stand out on social.

After Effects is my main software for motion graphics and has allowed me to produce everything from titles, to moving photographs to visual effects and animations.
