I start as a complete beginner with Dave 3 months ago and it is has been quite an enlightening experience. Good steady progress and feeling more relaxed after every session, but regular practice is certainly key for me.

Excellent the methods are great and Dave is extremely easy to get along with making it a pleasure to learn highly recommend

Only my second session with loads of content. Really pushing me outside my comfort zone but plenty to practice before my next visit. The whole 60 minutes is recorded and transfered to me. Like it. 😀 More...

I've tried previos one on one tuition and also on-line lessons however at last I feel like I'm starting to make some progress with learning the guitar. The material that Dave sends through post each lesson is of good quality and helps with the practice at home. Great coffee, nice bloke what more can I say?

Fun fun.

My instructor was amazing. Loved his manner and teaching technique. I have just been too busy to return but do plan to!

Dave has taught my son for a few years now. His teaching style is great - no boring play this chord, do this, do that - he has backing tracks that he can change the speed and loop to learn by section so you can master a piece over time and when ready, you can even record the piece.

Handouts and backing loops are emailed out for practice between classes.

Dave's enthusiasm for music shows through in his lessons and his encouragement to push further is outstanding.

I would recommend Dave to anyone wanting to learn without hesitation.

I'm having lessons with Dave Brown after trying a previous teacher and then reverting to on-line tuition. At last I feel that there is some structure to what I'm learning. At sixty six years old, I decided to do something I'd put off for many years; learn to play guitar. My son learned and I watched him develop on his own and with a tutor. I contacted David Brown of dB Music, who I'd found in "Yell". Couldn't have made a better choice ! We get on pretty well as he's on my wavelength and really knows his stuff with the guitars ! Has a pretty well set up studio and is certainly pushing me on so far, ( which to be honest is what I need ). They all worked out really well and Dave's patience, encouragement and interest in your efforts is hugely helpful to the artistic process. He's a great guy to work with.
