We approached Craig for help with our rescue dog who'd become a bit reactive after an altercation with another dog. We've had a few sessions with Craig now and he's awesome! Really nice guy and very patient. He really knows his stuff, is personable, reliable and punctual, and most importantly, we've seen a huge improvement in our dog since we started with him and this is improving week by week! Since the pandemic, we were unable to find anybody who'd actually come out and train with us out "in the field", which I think is essential for help and support with anyone with a reactive dog as your confidence goes, but Craig met us in person from the very first session onwards. Our ‘baby’ has only had 2 sessions so far, but she’s changed beyond recognition. Craig is great at showing us exactly how to keep her under control and everyone, including her, are happier and more settled as a result. We’re looking for our baby to be a therapy dog in a trauma until with children, so extensive training is essential, but that aside, it’s worth every penny to have an obedient dog who communicates well. I honestly feel like we talk and listen to each other now. We’ve started understanding each other. Thanks Craig. We so look forward to our sessions! Highly recommend Craig as a dog trainer. We had our first session today with our ridgeback puppy Obi and he was amazing! ! Craig is an expert dog trainer particularly with this breed and his knowledge is excellent. Our dog Huxley has just come home from a long stay at Craig’s while we were away. Hux was looked after so well and was treated like part of his family, he even got Xmas pressies on Xmas day, which he loves. He reported on how he was getting on and sent us updates and photos as we were away for a month. We had no doubts that Hux would be looked after well due to Craig’s expertise in this field, which allowed us to enjoy our holiday without any worries. Would highly recommend Craig for both dog training and boarding. We first got in contact with Craig for training to help us get a bit more control of our crazy puppy. We initially did 5 sessions but were so impressed with the improvement and change of behaviour in our dog Reggie we took out a further 5 sessions to bring him on even further. Craig is so patient with both dog and owner and really knows his stuff. After getting to know Craig over our first few training sessions we knew we wouldn’t trust anyone else to board him for 2 weeks whilst we were on our honeymoon. We had daily updates (at our request) with pictures but even without the updates we knew Reggie would be fine and love how much Reggie looks up to Craig and knows who’s boss! We have just come to the end of 5 lessons with Craig who is fantastic. What he can achieve with a puppy in an hours lesson is more than we could hope to achieve in a month. Really he is training the owners how to train the puppy. I can't recommend him highly enough. I'm sad to have come to the end of our 5 lessons, but I think we will see him again when/if we encounter further issues. He has taught us how to understand our dog. We've got a rescue dog who can be very nervous around new people. She stayed with Craig on the weekend and he was very calm and patient with her. Craig updated me with messages and photos to let me know how she was getting on which really put me at ease. I cannot recommend Craig enough. Rocky recently stayed with Craig and thoroughly enjoyed his stay. Craig really ensures that he gets to know your dogs likes and dislikes to make there stay a home away from home. I was consistently given up dates and photos which put me at ease. Craig is very knowledgeable and patient. We have two very "complex" dogs with their own distinct personalities. Craig listened to our rundown on their positive and negative behaviours and took his time to assess them individually, before introducing them to his own dogs. He clearly LOVES dogs and they quickly learn their place within his pack and respond perfectly to him. We've also used Craig's home boarding service and our dogs were happy to be left and clearly well walked and looked after whilst we were away. Dogs are a part of your family and should only be left with someone that treats them the way you expect your best friends to be treated. Craig is therefore highly recommended and we will have no hesitation in boarding our complicated hounds with him again in the future! More...
