Everything We Could Have Asked For AND MORE From the moment we sent a query to David through his website, he was everything we wanted in a photographer! Passionate, attentive, helpful and of course skilled! From the get go he was so open to all of our ideas and willing to attempt everything we threw at him. Our pre-wedding shoot was so lovely, and I'd recommend one to anyone because it truly helped us mesh with David and get to know each other with a camera between us. Every meeting, every email, every text. David was more than helpful. In the weeks leading up to our day if we had ANY queries, we knew we could shoot them his way. We hired a second photographer through David and he made a perfect choice for us, and as a result was also able to capture two videos that we'll cherish forever. On the day, he was incredible. Everyone commented on how they didn't notice he was even there! But was also so lovely to the few who chatted to him. For the formal photos he was assertive and the perfect amount of instructive/ cheery. He'd also made an amazing effort to remember everyone significants name too?? Which I thought was amazing! He made sure our day was about us and not about his shots (whilst also getting amazing shots obviously!). We were sad to see him go on the day as we truly felt connected with David, our wedding wouldn't have been the same without him! BUT EVEN AFTER he was STILL incredible! We received on the day sneak peaks, and then 955 photos only two weeks later! With our videos following shortly after too! The entire time he kept us updated on the status as well. They were all so beautiful and portrayed our day exactly as it felt through images. The love, the laughter, the excitement, the nervousness. He captured it all. After recieving them we had a couple of photos we queried about and I'd realised I had had none with my younger sister. He worked his magic and made sure I received that very photo through editing! We can't begin to express how grateful we are for David and the service he gave us. If I had to pick 1 decision as the best we made during the wedding planning process, it would be choosing him as our photographer. David was amazing from beginning to end. He was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He remembered names of guests which is a feat in itself! He was charming, never intrusive but always in the right place at the right time to capture every magical moment. He visited our house to get preparation pictures and fitted in so easily, just like one of the family. At the venue he was calm, polite and funny while dealing with our party. The sneak peak reel, which was available to view by the end of the speeches was fantastic and gave all the guests an idea of what to expect when the full gallery was prepared. We were not disappointed, hundreds of pictures, embracing all ages and styles. Where to start!! From our first meeting with David, within 5 minutes we knew that he was the one we wanted to capture our day. He was fantastic with keeping in contact with us up until the big day. On our day he went above and beyond to capture the special moments and the highest quality pictures. He is a very warm lovely person which made our guests feel at ease! A lot of our guests commented on how lovely he was and loved the pictures on the sneak Peak! The pictures captured our day perfectly and we couldn't be happier! David did an amazing job of capturing precious moments of our special day paying attention to detail. Many guests complemented me on friendly and discreet David was . we are super happy with our gallery with around 500 pictures from arrivals to the reception. He came and found us when there were photo ops . For example during the sunset and when there was some light rain we captured a beautiful umbrella shot which is our favourite. we would definitely recommend David to anyone looking for a wedding photographer! After seeing the results of our Engagement shoot, there was only 1 person I would trust to shoot the promotional photographs for my DJ business. We had a pet portrait shoot for our bouncy choccy lab today and I was a little worried that Ally wouldn’t sit still. David was absolutely incredible letting Ally have a bit of time to get used to the different smells and surroundings before even attempting to photograph her. Ally soon relaxed and we have just received a sneak peak photo and my god, it is absolutely amazing! I can’t believe how beautiful the photo is and we are so looking forwards to seeing the rest! We have also booked David for our wedding in 2024 and I’m absolutely so confident that we will be happy with our photos after seeing just this one! Dave was our wedding photographer in August and I can't recommend him enough. Dave is such a nice and genuine guy who we could have a real laugh with and made us (and our guests! ) feel so relaxed - most of the time we didn't even notice he was there! Our photos are so beautiful and natural which is exactly what we asked for and he got our initial photos to us within days of our wedding which was incredible!! From start to finish his service was super professional - nothing was ever to much for him - I pretty much had him on speed dial for months! From the initial meeting with David we was completely put at ease and made to feel comfortable, we just knew he would be perfect to capture our special day and weird personalities! We have had the pleasure of knowing Dave for a few years, when he started doing wedding photography and we saw his previous work and the amount of passion he had for getting the perfect photos we knew he had to be the one to capture our special day. We took our rescue Labrador to David for a pet portrait shoot recently. She can be anxious but David took time to let her settle and feel at ease, got her used to the equipment and being close to the camera. He took time to give her breaks and to have her in a range of natural poses. She was extremely relaxed and the resulting photographs capture her personality perfectly. The gallery we were provided with has meant we are spoilt for choice of images - all round it has been a high quality and professional experience, with a friendly and personable approach. Hired David for our wedding photography. Although based in Derbyshire David was more than happy to accommodate our requests and making a trip to the seaside with us and our wedding party for our wedding day. From start to finish David was clear and concise with what he was providing and gave a detailed breakdown. Absolutely stunning photos.
